something beautiful....

God seems to always take sad or bad things and turn them into something good, beautiful,meaningful. Well, a few years ago Tommy lost his grandmother to cancer. There was a plant delievered as a sympathy gift. Tommy brought the plant home and planted it in our yard. Every year the flower comes back. It bloomed today. It is beautiful. I took these pics at night I will try to get a good one in the daylight. Today this was just a reminder to me that God is in the always there. Even in sorrow, he brings gladness!

ugghh.... I hate the bug....

My poor baby boy has been sick all day. He started throwing up this morning. I guess Eli's sickness was not just his stomach acting up. Thank God we got it all of the way before vacation this weekend. Just praying Tommy andI stay healthy between now and then and then while we are gone too. We need a vacation so bad. Thank God for phenegran and Zofran! Thank God for the doctor's office calling in meds too! That rocks! He was pitiful for about 3 hours. I think this may be the sickest he has ever been. He did manage to eat a piece of dry toast and drink some pedialyte Pray all is well in the morning!

BIG DAY!!! the LOOM

We did it...signed the paperwork! Brandi (my business partner) and I signed the paperwork today. We are opening an exciting new business. the Loom at Cotton Mill Place is a hip yet historic venue to plan any event. Keep us in mind for your next event. We are so excited about this opportunity and look forward to see what God has for us! We are finishing up constuction and scheduling events now!!!

Party Time

Today we celebrated my sweet boy Bleeze birthday. He will be four on the 13th but we will be on vacation so we had his party today. It was carnival theme. He had a ton of fun! We had games, hot dogs, jump rides. It was a blast. The kids seems to have fun and that is all that matters! A huge thanks to my parents and Brandi and Jon for their help with decorating, food, etc. I was a little stresse because Eli was not feeling good. I am not sure what is going on with him. I think he had a stomach bug on Thursday and maybe he over did it on Sunday and that is what has made him sick today. He seems some better this evening. My brother, sisterinlaw, and niece Makenzie made it to town this evening. I am glad they are going to be here for awhile! Looking forward to this week. Lots of exciting things taking place and also I am super excited for vacation this week!

Went to the chapel for a wedding....

Went to the Smith-Siau wedding today. It was beautiful and I really enjoyed seeing old friends. I osted their grooms cake and the wedding cake. After the wedding we went to church. Both boys enjoyed church as did we and then we headed out to the 50's car show at our local Chickfila. SO much fun!!!! Both boys loved looking at the cars but Bleeze really, really enjoyed it. He is so into cars especially Mustangs. He wants one that is not battery operated. LOL! Enjoy our pictures

Whew.....today has been crazy. I have been working on the Smith-Siau cakes. Jonathan wanted a clemson themed grooms cake and Mandy chose a beautiful wedding cake. I will post pictures of them . Eli was sick yesterday and then we had business meeting also. I also got to teach a class of kiddos some cake decorating so much fun! So I am off to deliever this cake and have dinner with my family at Cracker Barrel YUMMY!!!!

Summer Days

Summer has arrived. The boys love spending the days at the pool. It is nice to take a break from our busy schedule and let them jump in! I love the time to sit, read, and relax too! Got some cute shots this week....Thought I would share!
