Wonderful Weekend...

We had a a nice relaxing weekend. Saturday we stayed close to home and then on Sunday afternoon we rode up to Chimney Rock and had some good family fun there and enjoyed a boat tour of Lake Lure. It was so beautiful and we enjoyed ourselves so much! We are trying to spend as much time with our two sweet boys as much as we can because in just few weeks the dynamics of our little family will change as we will finally get to meet our sweet Suri girl!!! I've been a bad blogger....

I have been such a bad blogger lately. I am sorry. I really do have a lot to say especially on spiritual and political levels but I have been fighting the urge to put it out there. I tend to get myself in trouble when I do that. I really need to find a way to vent and not offend but it is hard. LOL!

We have been getting ready for baby Suri to arrive and tomorrow we find out a "for sure" date unless she decides to try to come on her own. I had two wonderful baby showers! I posted the pics on my facebook.

So for now... I am going to try to be a better blogger and keep everyone up to date because I know that I am going ot have a lot going on over the next few weeks with the arrival of our sweet Suri!

Weekend Wrap Up on Wednesday....

This past weekend was nice. It was very relaxing. We have been on the go every weekend for two months. It was nice to be home and do some things around the house. All last week I worked on moving out my office/studio and making room for our new baby girl Suri! I managed to squeeze an entire room into a closet. I am still amazed and it is pretty organized I worked on that practically all week.

Friday night Eli had his friend Zack over and he and some other friends went to our church for a movie night. This gave Tommy and I the opportunity to spend some one-on-one time with Bleeze. We took him to his favorite restaurant Logan's Roadhouse. He loves to eat there for their yeast rolls which he dips in ketchup. (YUCK). Then we went to Buy Buy Baby to purchase another window valance for the nursery. We made a quick run into Ross where Bleeze got a shirt and I found some really cute table decor I will share later in my like/dislike blog!

Saturday Tommy worked on building the walls in Suri's room and had Jason laying the new slate on our back porch. (one good thing about owning a flooring business, you find great deals and can change often). It was nice to sit and chat with friend Michelle that afternoon and hold her new little baby girl. Saturday night we grilled out with my parents. We had fun hanging out with them and enjoyed having them here.

Sunday morning proved me wrong. I had been complaining about having to switch from early service to late service because Eli's middle school youth group, 24Seven, meets only during 2nd service. I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed it. We slept in, I made muffins and we had breakfast as a family which is very rare in the Bagwell house. We enjoyed church and now that Bleeze is the elementary department he LOVES it! (in fact, Monday morning he ask to go to church again) After church we enjoyed lunch at traditional lunch spot (Bojangles) LOL! and then took our annual pilgrimage to Skytop Apple Orchard up in Flat Rock, NC. I love to go there... Tommy says he just goes to make me happy. This year our friends Jason and Michelle went with us and there two girls. It was nice to be outside, the kids liked the hayride, the apple cider, and of course the famous doughnuts! It was a fun day.

Sunday night we started back to our small group from church after a break for the summer. It was nice to be with such an awesome group of people again and we look forward to this fall session.

This week has proven to be kinda crazy so far. It's hump day but it is CRAZY! I have been struggling with really bad migraines from being preggo! I was down for the count Monday night and yesterday. We have had electricians here rewiring some of our electrical system for the nursery and other rooms in the house, and finally after 2 years, the ceiling fan in the living room is working. LOL!

Well, that is what is new in our life right now. I have to get busy making some new designs for Allie B. Originals. Hope everyone has a great rest of the week!

Fun Weekend...

We had such a wonderful weekend. We enjoyed time at our place at the lake again this past weekend but it was such a treat because we got to spend time with our friends from our small group at church. Lots of fun on the water, in the water, food, and fun! We came home early on Labor Day due to all the rain from the tropical storm that came through but it was great the other three days! The boys had fun and so did we ! Great weekend!

I have been a little busy the past few days so I am a little late doing my weekend wrap up! Last weekend we went to Charlotte for my little nephew Tanner's baby dedication. We went up on Friday night and enjoyed dinner with Eric, Jessica, Makenzie, and baby Tanner at Cheddars! I am so excited that Greenville is getting one. It is such good food at great prices!

The boys loved staying in a hotel and even more they love having breakfast in the mornings at a hotel.....why take them to Disney world as excited as they get over that.

Sunday we enjoyed being in church with my brother and his family. We loved being a part of such a special day as the dedicated Tanner! He is such a cutie pie! I could eat him up! We loved being with our family. Of course... lunch was unbelievable with all the good food that everyone brought!

We were thankful for a safe trip home and ready to start a new week!

Happy 15 Years!

Yesterday was my 15 year Wedding Anniversary. I can not believe it has already been 15 years. God has blessed us so much. I could never give Him enough thanks for all that he has done for us. We have two beautiful boys and never in a million years did we think that at 15 years of marriage we would have a baby girl on the way.

We celebrated this year with a trip to Atlanta, GA due to the fact that I cannot travel more than 4 hours from home and I cannot fly. So we will have to plan the trip we had planned on this year at a different time. Last night we had dinner at City Range and we enjoyed the movie The Help. It was great movie. Lately I have been feeling overwhelmed by just life in general. It has been really crazy lately and I am really trying to get grips on everything. Just some small updates about the past few weeks. We have enjoyed some time at the lake and weekend before last Tommy took me to Atlanta for the weekend to celebrate our 15 year wedding anniversary. We had planned to go to NYC or LA but I can’t travel more than 3 hours from home and NO flying due to be AMA (advanced maternal age) LOL!

We had a nice time in Hotlanta, and believe me it was HOT! It was probably not the ideal place for a very preggo woman to do a ton of walking. On Friday evening we arrived a little late. We went and had quick dinner at the internationally known VARSITY! Tommy and never been there. It is the largest drive in the world. It was very yummy and great for a preggo lady craving junk to eat. We took advantage of the movie selection in our hotel that evening and watch Hanna….weird…Tommy always chooses the strangest movies!

Saturday morning we walked to the Westin Peachtree and had lunch up 73 stories at the Sun Dial restaurant. It was so good! This southern girl was loving the vanilla/orange iced tea. It was delicious! Then we spent the afternoon walking, shopping, etc. However, after a few hours in the heat we decided that we would go for a swim and then we watched the movie “Life as We Know It”. It was a sad but cute movie. That evening we had dinner at Pitty Pat’s Porch. It was NOT that great! We decided that it was really not worth the money and the food was NOT that good. I will write about that later.

Sunday morning we slept in and then had lunch at Mary Mac’s Tea Room. It was delicious! I would love to have some of the food now. LOL! It was really cool to see all the famous people who had eaten there with the autographed pictures on the wall. Rev. Charles Stanley was right beside my face. LOL! However, there were MANY other celebrities from presidents-tv stars on the wall. The southern food was my favorite meal for the weekend.

This past week on Thursday, Tommy gave into a very often requested wish of Bleeze and we took him to Frankie’s Fun Park. We had dinner at Johnny Rocket’s and then they boys (including Tommy rode the Drop Zone and go-carts) Bleeze had been begging to go for literally about two months because he wanted to see if he had grown enough to drive the beginner’s go-carts. Praise God he had! He would have been devastated if he had not grown enough.

This past weekend we spent some time at the lake again. We had our neighbor and fried Cameron join us. On Saturday, Tommy’ s Dad Tony and his wife Tammy and my niece Lexi spent the day with us. We had a nice time riding the boat and just chilling out!

Now we are back to reality… so much going on and it seems like every time we turn around there is an issue with something…. something is breaking, help not working out, someone not doing what they were supposed too, you know…LIFE! I have decided to start two more blogs of what is on my mind and my special finds and a food blog… LOL! So stay tuned for those.

Weekend Wrap Up July 25, 2011

We had a nice weekend. Friday was kinda rushed and nothing realy exciting. Eli had Third Friday for church he had a fun time swimming and eating pizza with his small group. While Tommy, Bleeze, and myself had a yummy dinner at this new Mexican restaurant! I cannot remember the name of it but it was good and very inexpensive. I will try my best to get the name of next time I am in the area.

Saturday we spent the day in Charlotte with my family to celebrate my sweet nieces third birthday. I have to admit that I am very happy that her favorite restaurant is Cheddars because it is so yummy! LOL! We enjoyed spending time with them.

Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful message at church, lunch at the airport to watch the planes and come and go, and the rest of the day was a lazy Sunday. I watched the marathon of Little House on the Prairie from the Hallmark channel and then finally at 8:30 last night we had a gourmet dinner… (LOL….grilled cheese sandwiches).

This week is busy for all of us and I look forward to the upcoming weekend for some time at the lake. For now though, hope you all have a great week and I hope to keep up with my blog!

Weekend wrap up a little late…. July 20, 2011

Well, we had a fun weekend last weekend! We made it all about the boys. We took them to the flea market (they love to go and I love to antique shop). Then we went to the mall where we had lunch and walked around for a bit, then we went to the movies to see Transformers 3 (awesome movie), and then we went to play putt-putt at the downtown indoor fun center, and then topped the evening off with dinner at Trio. It was a great night. Do you know how much money we spent? $40. Yep, that’s it. With coupons and barter partners that’s it! That was a fun day and the boys enjoyed every minute of it.

Sunday we went to church where I heard my favorite quote of the week. “Sin makes you stupid”-Bill White! So good! Then we were off to Cracker Barrel for lunch and then we went to register our little Suri at Buy Buy Baby! The boys had so much fun! It was hard to get them out of the clothes though. They were so excited, the thing we could not get them to understand is that just because you register for it, doesn’t mean you are going to get it. LOL! The rest of our Sunday was spent being lazy!

Great weekend! So grateful for it!!!!!

Fun little getaway……. July 12, 2011

We had a good little weekend away this past weekend in Helen GA. Helen is such a fun little town with its German heritage. The boys had a great time Saturday tubing down the Chattahoochee River while my parents hung out with preggo at our cute little bungalow nestled along the river watching Lifetime movies. LOL! We enjoyed just visiting the different shops and a yummy dinner out on Saturday evening. Sunday we visited Moccasin Creek State Park (Beautiful) for just a nice relaxing time before returning home to get ready for this busy week.

On Wednesday, July 6, 2011 we headed to the doctor to find out what we were having. We were all excited to find out if it was a boy or girl! Which would it be???? It was funny as I was lying there for the ultrasound I could see how all three of my guys were so anxious to see what it would be. After what seemed like an eternity of the ultra sound tech clicking different measurements and showing us different body parts…. we finally saw the one that we all were waiting for. It was a GIRL!!! yahoo!!!!

After the ultrasound and doctor’s appointment we headed to the mall to pick out an outfit for the revealing party. (so fun watching my three guys ooo and ahhh over all the little girl clothes) . We were honored to host our closest friends and family for dinner and the big reveal. All the guest put their names in a drawing to be one of two lucky winners to reveal the sex and name of our new baby. I was so happy that my best friend Candy’s name was drawn for the sex revealed. I found it funny to watch her removed layers of alternating blue and pink tissue paper until she finally reached the bottom which revealed the sweet pink outfit!!!! My precious niece name was drawn for to reveal our sweet girl’s name which will be Suri Elizabeth Bagwell.

After such a wonderful night I feel extremely blessed and I am so excited to meet the precious baby girl that God has given us to complete our little family. Enjoy the pics from our special day!!!

We had a great 4th of July at the lake. Eli brought his friend Zac and we had a great time. The boys enjoyed the usual tubing, jumping of very high rocks (yikes), swimming, and jet skiing. We enjoyed fireworks at the sandbar on Sunday evening.

Summer Days…. June 30, 2011

I love Summer, it is my favorite time of year. I would rather be warm than cold any day and I love all the color! The past week or so we have been so busy with work, it is has been crazy. Both Tommy and I are swamped right now but we have manged to have some fun with dinners, bachelorette parties, birthday party, graduation parties, swim time with friends, and much more!

My Belly ( or little baby) is growing everyday and we have less than a week until we find out if we are getting us a little boy or a little girl. I can’t wait until our big reveal party next week! It is going to be so much fun!

Lately, I have been doing a ton of thinking about people and the way the present themselves and how their actions always cause issues for others. It has really made me start to think about everything I do and say, for example……lately neglagence from staff from several places has made ME look negligent. The stupidity of hackers has made me look stupid. The bottom line is I make enough mistakes on my own that I do not need the help of anyone else. LOL! Okay….getting off that soap box and on to another.

I am writing a book. I know some of you are laughing your tails off right now but hey…. I have always wanted to write a book. I decided that if I was every going to do it, then I might as well start on it ASAP! Please say a prayer that I will write with wisdom and in love. I get tickled when I think about writing a book because I think, is my book going to be like Blanche’s book from one of my favorite episodes of the Golden Girls….You know the one….where she stayed up all night writing and nothing made sense! Hahahaha!

Well, it is dinner time at the Bagwell’s and I have got to go cook. I am looking forward to the weekend with my family and celebrating the 4th of July! We are headed to the lake for a few days and I am excited!

Proud of my guy…… June 24, 2011

Being the proud Mama that I am, I have to brag a little bit. My sweet Eli, has always been a hard worker. I can remember when he was 3 and 4 years old him being such a great helper and worker. He always works hard at what he does. He loves to organize and clean (even to the point of becoming somewhat annoying at times…LOL) but I am thankful. I would rather him be a hard worker than lazy.

This week, he got in his head that he wanted to purchase a couch from Ikea for his bedroom. He went on-line, picked what he wanted, measured his room to make sure that it would fit then he went to work raising the money to purchase the couch. He sold two chairs from his room that he already had, he went to several doors in our neighborhood and offered to cut their grass. He designed a flyer that offers car washing, house cleaning, and lawn care. He cracks me up. Right now, this minute, he is mowing grass. Now, what you have to understand is that Eli is a bit of a perfectionist, that yard will look like professional landscapers got a hold of it and it was my sweet Eli for only $20 bucks. God Love him!

I am enjoying seeing him grow into a man…. I can see it everyday and I am so very proud of him.

I have been so busy the past week. Trying to roll out new products, entertain two boys for the summer and fight off pregnancy symptoms. We had a very busy weekend last week that included lots of cake orders, graduation parties, memorial service and family dinner for Father’s Day. Monday was busy in the morning but did manage to squeeze in a swim with my brother and his family.

I have been so bad about logging my gratitude. Not that I haven’t been grateful. I think about it every night but I have had a hard time actually blogging it. Going to do it now. Got so much to be thankful for!

1. Thankful for my sweet hubby and boys!

2. Grateful for time with family.

3. Grateful for the time I got to hold my new nephew and watch him hold onto my shirt and stare at me…. so precious!

4. Grateful for busy times but yet rewarding.

5. Grateful for new creativity!

Shipping issues for Allie B. Originals (hopefully resolved June 23, 2011

Each week we take all the mail for Allie B. Originals to be shipped twice (Tuesday and Friday). Last week after many complaints that people had not received their packages mailed the previous week, I went to the post master to see what the problem was. I have had numerous problems with the postal service and I had made the decision to go with UPS. Going with UPS was a hard decision for me because I will now have to charge shipping to my clients where in the past I have not.

At my trip to the post office we discovered an crate with my mail as well as some other bulk shipments from other individuals/companies that had been placed in a box and under and a counter and had NOT been shipped. The post office offered to make it right for me and promised to ship the packages. I discovered today after another very long discussion with the post master that they did not mail the packages out until Monday afternoon due to the “issue” being under investigation to try to see who neglected to mail the packages. I was under the impression that the postal service in order to make this situation “right” would at very least “priority mail” my packages for me. Today I found out that they sent them regular “first class” (thanks for making it right). I also asked why it is taking SOOOO long for packages to arrive in certain states and not in others. For example. It has been taking two weeks for packages to get to Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and New York but a mailed one package to California and they received it 4 days later????????

This was the explanation I received. There are daily flights from Greenville, SC to California with the mail service. All mail going to California is shipped to California within one day. They have a faster moving pace than other places. The explantation was that places in PA, OH, there are many small towns with many different post offices. The post master told me today that an average letter to some locations in the north could go through 4-6 different post office before it arrives in city it supposed to go to. This makes first class mail run 5-10 and priority 3-7. I was totally blown away. She stated that the mail is still driven and not flown to most of these locations and that different things can happen depending on the time of day the shipments are received at all locations. This would explain why when my brother lived in Texas it often took him up to 3 weeks to receive packages, letters, etc. from us.

I want to apologize to all my clients for such delay. As I stated at the end of last week I have made the decision to go with UPS from now on (with much regret of having to do this) but I feel in order to get the packages out in a timely manner this is necessary.

There was a shipment from the post office that went out Monday and Today. (they gave me a $15.00 credit for all my trouble) LOL! So I made the last shipments today! If you have an outstanding package, letter, etc that was due in the past 3 weeks please give until next Wednesday to receive it. If you have not received your package by next Wednesday I will be refunding money as well as any other provisions that need to be made (at the expense of our wonderful postal service).

Again,I apologize for such a disaster. I only wish I had spoken with the post master earlier because since January, I have had a ton of trouble with deliveries as well as many damaged packages returned.

Please know that it is my goal to make shopping with Allie B. Originals pleasant for everyone. Thank you so much for your patience and please notify me if you have not received your shipments or letters (we mail bulk everything at one time) by next Wednesday June 29, 2011.

found a new “love” June 13, 2011

For those of you who know me, you know that I LOVE cosmetics. I have been obsessed since a little girl with makeup and jewelry….. LOL! Some people used to refer to me as the little Jezebel. LOL! I worked in the cosmetic industry for years and I have my favorites which are a wide variety of different products. For the past 2 years for my foundation I have been a MAC girl! I LOVE their products. However, last Friday I ran out of foundation. I had to run to the mall to exchange some shorts…(can I just say… I HATE MATERNITY CLOTHES) anyway that is a different blog for a different time. LOL! So, that entire pregnancy mind loss kicked in and I completely forgot to pick up some foundation. So….. I had a wedding to go to and 1 hour to get ready. I FREAKED out! It was quicker just to run to Wal-Mart so I ran in and tried to decide what to buy. I purchased this product.

I did not want to spend much because it was my plan to head back to the mall on Tuesday to pick up some MAC foundation. WRONG. I absolutely love this product. It really does last and has great coverage. I had went to a wedding where I was very HOT and even sat outside for a good bit, my makeup looked as good when I got home as when I left 7 hours later with NO touch ups! I paid like $7 for this product versus the $30 for MAC! I have found a new LOVE!

Recently, I joined the website www.cozi.com it is a family organizer and is pretty neat. One of the features is the ability to journal your families daily activities. I love it, so basically this blog is going to be my venting blog or my more “personal” blog. I entitled this blog “in process”, it seems that everything that in my life right now is “in process”. I know that nothing in life is certain, but I am the type of person that likes to have things “for sure”. I swear that I haven’t prayed for patience. (My mom always said pray for strength not patience, if you pray for patience God will give you the test to teach you patience” LOL!!!!)

It seems that lately I have had so much going on and through my mind that at times it can be overwhelming. Recently I talked with my doctor about some concerns that my brain was in overload. He assured me that much of it had to do with being pregnant and is actually a form of Alzheimer’s called pregnancy induced Alzheimer’s that normally affects women, (who they so kindly like to put it) are of advanced maternal age. LOL! It is really scary if you think about it. It causes your brain to be on overload and therefore you forget many things. Just normally day-to-day task… I freaked at first becoming afraid I was going to forget my children or husband he assured me it usually only effects the small things like forgetting things on list, going certain places, mailing items, going to the bank forgetting to write down things, going places and forgetting why you are there, or why you went into a certain room. It has been crazy! Not to mention on top of all of this I have had lots of issues with my business and my accounts being hacked both personal and business. NOT COOL!

Yesterday afternoon was one of those times when I had time to think about things. I have found that often when you have time to think about things it goes one of two ways…… all the positives in your life…..or all the negatives. Sad to say…… yesterday mine seemed to be the negative…NOT COOL AGAIN! As I was making my sweet boys birthday cake my mind began to reflect on the past and acts of betrayal that had been sent my way…..then… as always the holy spirit began to prick my heart…..my betrayal was nothing compared to what Christ experienced and still experiences and I became really grateful. You know no matter how difficult things are what trial you are going through things could always be worse. I began to see how selfish I was being and how negative I was being and I quickly repented and began to count my blessings…..so that is what I am going to do now….show my attitude of gratitude and then I am honestly going to try to go back to my attitude of gratitude daily blogs of the of my top blessings of the day! So here are yesterdays.

So grateful for….

1. Time with my sweet family at breakfast this morning at Cracker Barrel….they are precious!

2. fun times on the iPad with talking tom cat…..hearing my boys giggle is priceless.

3. the fact that I can feel life growing inside me….nothing like the flutters of my sweet unborn baby.

4. the ability to make my sweet boy’s birthday cake.

5. movie afternoons with my hubby!

6. the Holy Spirit for prompting me to realize my sin…….

It is so sad that the very last blog I did was on Usama dying….sorry!

What is going on with the Bagwell Bunch…..

We just enjoyed a week at the beach. It is one of our favorite places to go down at Harbor Island. We enjoyed Hunting Island and Beaufort as always. The boys love doing “nothing”! I have to admit that I did too! The house we stayed had porches on every level and I LOVED just sitting out and enjoying the breeze. In the afternoon when the tide would come in we would usually get to see an alligator or two and the boys really loved that! I swear that one day that is probably where Tommy and I will retire. We love the low-country. We love everything about it from the “true” southern heritiage to the oak trees covered in Spanish moss. It is just wonderful! I can’t wait to go back.

Summer has arrived and we are enjoying time on the lake once again! Our boys love just riding the boat, tubing, and jumping off the big rocks into the lake (giving me a heart attack). We enjoyed Memorial Day and then a wonderful day trip on Sunday with my parents! It is nice just to relax and get away.

Here is an update on each of us…..

Tommy…busy as ever…working like a dog everyday! I am really blessed to have such a hard working man! He is a great provider and I love him for it!

Eli, he is glad that is Summer. Missing our neighbor Cameron is in gone for the summer but having fun none the less! He is going to some drama and summer camps this summer so that should keep him busy. He is getting bigger by the minute I swear! He is taller than me now ( I know, it doesn’t take much) He is growing up to fast! It hit me the other day that we only have 2 1/2 years and he will be able to get a driver’s permit…..YIKES!

Bleeze…he is loving playing cars as always. He had become a less fearful swimmer and is doing great! He is so precious! He always makes me laugh! He is so funny! He keeps the entire house laughing. For example the other night we were doing “opposites” Tommy, Eli, and myself were constantly calling out a word. He was doing GREAT! You know….deep/Shallow, hot/cold, summer/winter, etc. We must have done a million. Tommy looks at him and says, “Bleeze what is the opposite of Heaven?” he says, “BEEP” like when you “beep” out a “bad” word. We laughed for 10 minutes straight. He just continued to eat! LOL!

Sad to say but from all our water adventures both boys were at the doctor yesterday with swimmers ear. Both are on antibiotics and drops. Eli already seems some better but Bleeze is still complaining! (all night, actually). Tommy took them last night and purchased them some ear plugs so that they can continue to swim. Poor babies!

Me? I am doing okay. I think I am living up to Tommy’s nickname for me “OAP”, Old and Pregnant. I have had so many physical issues this time…nothings serious…You know…nausea, indigestion, rash, etc. I know it is all going to be worth it soon! We should find out in the next few weeks if we are having a baby boy or baby girl. One thing that we haven’t solved is naming this baby. With the boys we knew right away what we wanted to name it but with this one….little more tricky.

I am having to regroup my business. Just got through with some conference calls with some major issues we’ve had. I had some account hacking done that has been really a mess and has really disrupted the flow of business. Hopefully it is all somewhat solved and we can get back to business as usual. So big apologies to all who have been affected by such a mess!

So for now, I am going to go and enjoy some time with my boys and a friend at the pool then back to work this afternoon! I hope you all have a great day, and once again I will try my best to blog better!

my thoughts on a previous facebook thread on the death of Usama’s death. May 3, 2011

I had decided that it was not really worth me saying anything because I believe that everyone here is entitled to their personal opinions on this subject and in reality we all should have better things to do than to argue or throw out insults to each other on Facebook.

I think that EVERYONE here is in agreement that they are happy that Usama has been killed. However, I totally agree with Robbie…. It is VERY SAD if Usama met Hitler and made those statements…sad but true ( commenting on shane’s original status). I believe… (I may be totally wrong here) but I think that Robbie and Tommy both are simply saying…(can’t believe they are in agreement) LOL! While we as human beings are thrilled that he is gone, no longer a threat, we as Christians should be very sad that someone else has made into hell. Now, Tracy, Proverbs 11:10, is taken a little out of context here. This scripture is about the fall of Assyria… it is in reference to the sense of community, integrity, and gossip (the sins of this group of people who had defiled Jewish customs. This is referring to the tongue and behaviors…not death 1. When was it written. 2. Who was it written by 3. Who it was written too at that time 4. How does it apply to today.

I think if we are going to celebrate anything here we should celebrate justice…not death. We cannot rejoice in the death of the wicked any more than does God (Ezek. 18:23). We may take satisfaction that temporal justice has been served, but Christians should display a sober restraint. When Christ returns, bringing infinite justice in his wake, his saints will rejoice in the death of his enemies. For now, however, he calls us to pray for our enemies, even for those who persecute us (Matt. 5:44). This is the day of salvation, calling sinners to repent and believe the gospel. We may delight in the temporal justice shown to evildoers, but leave the final justice to God.

our response should be to use this opportunity to display to our non-Christian neighbors the radical contrasts between the biblical view of God, humanity, redemption, and the last judgment, and the religious and secularist distortions and even those that profess to be Christians.

well…. once again… I let a month get away from me….. May 3, 2011

Once again I have let a month get away from me without blogging. Let’s see….. what has happened….

1. I turned another year older. LOL! I am living up to my new nickname given to me by my “sweet” hubby….OAP (old and pregnant).

2. We had a wonderful Easter with family…fun hunting eggs, confetti eggs, yummy food and fun!

3. Enjoyed the symphony….

Basically, I have been busy and tired. This pregancy has worn me out. I have been very tired this time and feeling icky! I think I am getting somewhat better now though and hoping to get a burst of energy! I have taken more naps in the past 4 weeks then in my entire life. I am NOT one to nap…but good Lord, sleep is such a blessing right now. LOL!

I was able to be a party of Coffee Connection with Grace last night. It was great as always, such a wonderful, warm group of ladies. I always enjoy it!

Oh… another bit of news. I decided to start back up the cake business! I have had SOOOO many request for cakes so I thought why not.. Calling the new business Allie Cakes! I am going to continue with Allie B. Originals so don’t think it is going anywhere!

Going to the doctor tomorrow for our first ultrasound….excited to see our little nugget….

Ramblings…. April 7, 2011

This blog is basically going to be made up of basic ramblings…LOL!

I did not realize how long it has been since my last blog. Time just flies by! I have been so busy setting up Allie B. Originals. I really appreciate all the support I have received from family and friends of the past few weeks. If there is one thing that I have learned over the past year, you really find out who your friends are. Who supports you, loves you, etc. It has been a real eye opener.

I guess the biggest news is the fact that I have learned that I am going to be a mommy again. I am so excited! I do have to admit that I am very nervous with having had three miscarriages in the past. This total surprise is a blessing, I think a ton of people have wondered why I told already but I want people who love and know me to know so they can pray for me. I feel so old to be having a baby, but that is okay. God has a plan and hey…. I am not as old as Abraham and Sarah! LOL!!! My boys are 6 years and 6 months apart and this baby will be 6 years and 6 months difference with Bleeze. Eli will turn 13 right after it is born! So crazy! For those of you who know me, know that I have always loved kiddos and wanted a ton of them. I had decided a while back that I was done and too old for more kiddos but I am so glad that God has another plan! So all my faithful readers please pray that all goes well and we get a healthy baby boy or girl in November!

Both boys are doing great and really excited about summer and the baby! They are calling it “nugget” and can’t wait for homeschool to be over and the pool to open. The have spring fever like crazy!

Today, was marvelous! My bestie treated me to a wonderful, relaxing facial at Spa 360 at Sports Club! It was awesome! I was able to just relax and that was exactly what I needed!

Tomorrow we are headed to Greenville Memorial to the heart institute for a tour for homeschool. I think it will be interesting. Then it is my bday weekend. No big plans, just plan to chill and take it easy.

Weekend Wrap-Up March 21, 2011

The past weekend went by really fast! I was kinda blown away at how quickly it seems to be over. Especially since we did not do anything over the top nor were we really busy.

Early Friday afternoon started our weekend. Tommy finished up work early and spent some time in the back yard with Bleeze. The put out all the tball garb Bleeze got from Santa and Bleeze played ALL afternoon. Eli went with me to the mall and to Old Navy! I am so thankful for the 30% off coupon and that 5% of my sale with to the juvenile Diabetes Association. I got the boys a few things because with this warm weather I have discovered how much Eli has truly grown. His shorts are all too short and some are too tight. He is now taller than me (doesn’t take much) but nevertheless, my baby boy is bigger than me.

Friday night we had a great night sitting in the backyard as a family and eating our pizza and wings! So much fun! I am thrilled that it is now spring and we will be able to do that more often. I hope to really make my backyard look great in the next few weeks. It has always been a dream of mine to have a “sanctuary” so to speak in my backyard.

Saturday was filled with outdoor play for the boys and work for me. I am really excited at how my business is taking off and ever grateful to all of those who have been instrumental in helping me! Saturday night we went to Charlotte to celebrate my sweet sister-in-laws birthday! We enjoyed a marvelous dinner at Foskoskies! It was so good. Tommy and I both could have licked our plates clean…not to mention both boys cleaned their plates (that is a miracle for Bleeze). We then enjoyed dessert and coffee back at my parents house where I snapped a few cute pics of the kids playing. Bleeze and Makenzie were playing “old school” trying on shoes. I thought it was hilarious! Bleeze was the salesman and Makenzie was the princess buying shoes at Wal-Mart. LOL!

Sunday was nice and relaxing. We went to church. I just love to hear the sermons at Grace church! They are always so enlightening and uplifting. We then went to our normal “sunday lunch” place as the boys call it. Bojangles! Not the healthiest place but is very yummy. I spent the rest of the afternoon helping Tommy set up his new iPad and reading the controversy over Rob Bell’s new book “Love Wins” which I purchased to read and review for myself.

To end the weekend we enjoyed small group and snuggle time with the boys All in all… GREAT WEEKEND!

Looking forward to all this week has to bring, knowing it is going to be filled with awesome!

Cars…. and worn out knees… March 19, 2011

My sweet Bleeze being the five-year old boy he is has an obsession with cars. He LOVES them and he loves to play with them. I get so tickled, he actually pretends they are people at times and talks them. I love to listen to him play. He loves to go to car shows. He went to his first car show when he was two and he loved it more than Eli. He knows makes and models and his favorite is the FORD MUSTANG! He spots them everywhere we go! This is just a “few” we literally have hundreds of cars. We have “inside” cars and cars for just playing “outside”.

He used to say that he wanted to be a “wrecker” driver but now he wants to own a factory that makes “wreckers”! LOL! At a local flea market he purchased some pre-owned HotWheels out of a basket. They had them 4 for $1.00. We let him pick 8. It took 20 minutes for him to go through each one. This week I took him to Target because they have HotWheels for .79 each and it thirty minutes for him to pick 3! He enjoyed going to the eye doctor with my mom this week because he sat and looked at a “Mechanics Today” magazine. Not to mention his love for the Disney movie CARS! He loves all of it!

At Christmas time he was in desperate need of jeans. He kinda got overloaded because I told several people that was a need at the time. In the past few weeks, I have noticed that several pairs have holes in the left knee. I have gotten really upset because so many of his jeans are messed up! This week it hit me….it is from playing cars. Here is a picture of him this morning. He puts that left knee down on the floor, ground etc. while he plays. I am not exaggerating when I say he plays cars for hours at a time!

I decided not to be mad about the holes in his pants. I mean, I can purchase more pants, after all, he is only this size for a very short amount of time. While, I really don’t think his love for cars will fade, the love for “playing” cars will! He will eventually graduate to “playing” cars by driving them, working on and washing them , maybe even be a famous Nascar race car driver. Who knows, he may own that factory one day that “makes wreckers”,but for now, I am going to cherish every moment of his “left knee” car playing!!

I have to share this picture from yesterday! Bleeze was play cars on the end table in our living room. If you notice, my camera is sitting there. I picked it up to move it and he said, “Can you leave it there, it is my “security camera” in my parking lot! PRECIOUS!!!!!

Name Brand Favorites… March 19, 2011

My best friend has been blogging for years also and she often blogs her “favorite” things of the week. Reading her blog the other day I started to think about things that I like and dislike at the moment. One thing that came to my mind is purchasing generic products. I am all for saving money! For those of you who know me, I am all about finding a sale and a bargain! Got a huge savings at Old Navy yesterday on some spring clothes for the boys and it made my day! It is an actual “high” for me to get good deals. However, I am a FIRM believer that you “get what you pay for”. My hubby made a good point the other day that he would rather have fewer items as long as what he purchase was good quality he was willing to pay more.

Well, there are a few items that I will pay the full price for, items that I REFUSE to buy generic. Now, don’t get me wrong, if we were starving to death or did not have the money to buy them, I would buy generic, but if the funds are there, I will not purchase certain things “off brand” unless it is a dire financial emergency.

Here are a few examples

Campbell’s Soup….. not only can I tell the difference, but I have found that when trying to save money and I purchase an”off-brand” or store brand my hubby and kids notice something different about the texture of casseroles, etc. So that is one example of my weird obsession.

Laundry detergent! Now this is a must…. I have two boys who are ever so messy! I have found that in order to save clothes and get out horrible stains either Tide or Gain is the ONLY way to go. I have purchased less expensive detergents but I am never satisfied. It is well worth the extra money to me to know that the numerous stained up items I wash each week are always going to come clean!

Crest toothpaste. Now I have tried NUMEROUS different brands of toothpaste. Not just because of price point but because I have an obsession with oral hygiene. I have found that any product crest puts out their holds up to their advertisement and I am happy and cavity free! Not to mention…. I like the taste!

Next is TOILET PAPER ! Scott is my preferred brand….now, I know this is a less expensive brand but…. it is the best for the buck! I used to HATE scott toilet paper, but it really does last longer and with three guys in the house! , it is a must! My hubby and I used to actually argue over it but in the past 15 years I have come to realize, he is right so ..Scott it is! I can buy a bulk pack of Scott toilet paper and it last a month. I buy other brands and I have to buy it weekly. In the past year I have come to find that I like to purchase the paper towels also!

Another one is Now, I know…this stuff is really gross…no matter how you look at it but…. even as a kid I could tell a difference when my mother purchase a store or off brand in any of this disgusting junk. My sweet boys hate it therefore I don’t have to buy it! LOL! But I always think of my love for it as a child when I think of purchasing name brand!

Now, for you and the “south’ you are totally going to get the next one…. It is mayo…. You cannot purchase anything but

DUKES! It is the best. When I was a child and we lived up “north” we had it shipped to us! It is great! As we say here in the south…”We eat our salad dressing on our salad, not our sandwich”

These three cleaning products are a must. I have purchased all the “generic” and store brands and none of them compare to my love for these three products. I know some people and even myself have issues with the “environment” issues of each of these products but I do not feel my house is clean unless I use these. (I know, I am sick) LOL!

So for years now I have struggled with jeans! I am short and I just have e a horrible time. I even argued with my bestie once that I would NEVER find jeans to fit me the want I wanted. Two years ago I went with her advice and tried on a pair of jeans at Buckle (my favorite store…thanks Candy). I have never been the same…now I know… some of you say, they are too expensive. But as I stated before….YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR (not to mention, they have layaway). You can also find wonderful savings online or the particular brands website. I for one , love the fact that Buckle has free alterations and not only can I get the perfect fit but the perfect length. I even got my “tight wad” hubby wearing jeans from there. I love the BKU brands, Big Star, and my favorite is the MEK!

Okay…so now you all see some of my sick obsessions, I have a ton more from cosmetics, etc. to underwear but this blog is getting LONG. Anyway, I guess I was thinking about all this and “bringing it back to the gospel” as they say. It made me think…. how glad I am that God does not have “favorite” brands or even things! We would all be in trouble. What if God chose who he loved by our size, quality, color, texture, shape, how hard we work (or didn’t work), how much we cost, how well we cleaned, how we tasted, what we ate, where we lived, vacationed, etc.? We would all be screwed!

No… instead, God loves us just as we are. No matter our “off-brand” flaws. In his eyes, we are all name brand! Thank goodness!

recap of the past few days…. March 16, 2011

I had a rather busy weekend and with the time change I am really tired.

My weekend fun started on Thursday. Tommy purchased me Sugarland tickets for Valentines day and thanks to our good buddy Shane we had some awesome seats! Thanks Shane! The concert was so good. I just love Sugarland! It was quiet the show. I enjoyed every minute of it! I especially loved the dress that Jennifer wore! I so want it. I asked on twitter and facebook who the designer was but had no luck in finding out.

Friday night we went to see our precious friend Hannah in her school play. She was amazing and I was so proud of her! She ROCKS! The boys and I enjoyed having dinner and hanging out with Candy and Hannah. It was such fun!

Saturday was rather crazy. Errands in the morning and then we had my sister0-in-law Jessica’s baby shower. We just can’t wait to meet Baby Tanner. The shower was nice and it was fun to see all the cute little baby items.

Sunday we had clock troubles with the time change and it really turned into a blessing. A electrical cord in Eli’s room caught on fire, so thank God we missed church or our house would have burned completely down. We enjoyed a yummy lunch with my parents at the Chinese Buffet and then headed to a sweet ladies funeral. It was so nice to hear of all the wonderful stories. It made me wonder what people would say about me if I died.. After the funeral Tommy enjoyed two of our favorite things…coke Icee and Buckle ! LOL!! Got me some cute things!

I have been totally consumed with the earthquake in Japan. It is so sad. I pray for peace for them all very soon.

To God Be the Glory March 10, 2011

Whew…today has been such a long day! I am worn out. Even though today was long it was a good day! I had an awesome Bible study this morning, several appointments, got my hair cut and colored, ran errands, and managed to do some work this evening while watching American Idol. I really do not have a lot to share today but I did want to share something that was really awesome.

We have been singing an old Hymn that was changed up a bit through our worship leader at church. They posted the song and chords on Facebook today. I love this old song and I must have listened to it a zillion times while checking emails. I have posted the song along with the CaringBridge page that I read while reading it. This truly was the best part of the day! Hope it blesses you all.

•What a great day!! I got wonderful news in Charleston. My liver tolerated the radiation treatment well, I still have perfect liver function and the best news is that the radiation is really working. He said there was significant shrinking of tumors on my liver. Both doctors were very pleased at how well I am doing and had nothing but positive things to say. It was indeed a very peaceful, great day and we walked away filled with so much HOPE!
Thank you for all of your faithful prayers for me! One of the doctors said to keep on doing whatever it is I’m doing because it’s working. So keep praying, believing and trusting.

so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink… March 7, 2011

Today I am so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. Now that is something you don’t hear everyday. However, I remember once as a little girl I went to church with my grandmother. It was one of those old-time services when they used to have “testimony” service. You know…where everyone would stand up and say, “I want to thank the Lord, for all he’s done for me” . I kinda miss those services in a way. It showed what you were thankful for and what others were thankful and could sometimes be a great reminder of things you take for granted.

I remember that my sweet granny stood up and thanked the Lord for her dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. I remember even as a child, I thought..”Why in the world would you be thankful for that?”. Then I listened to her sweet testimony. She told how everyday when she washed her dishes she would have prayer time with God. Sometimes she would pray, but mostly she would listen to God and what he had to say to her. I thought…”boy, I bet over the years, she has had a lot to pray about.” Her mother died when she was 6 leaving her the oldest of her siblings and she cared for them on her own while her father worked away up the hills of Tennessee, she married a total loser and had 12 children, she raised all them by herself, worked in the cotton mill, buried several of her children as infants and adults, help raise many of her grandchildren, survived the depression and so much more. The list goes on and on, yet she was probably the most genuine person that has ever been in my life. She was a Godly woman and she loved the Lord so much. She left behind a great legacy…. all of her children were believers in Christ. Our family tree is full of children/grandchildren serving God in ministry, great singers, and much more.

She taught me not to be fearful of many things such as thunderstorms and harm. She often told me “as long as you got the Lord, you are fine” that is true…”as long as you got the Lord, you are fine”. She gave countless tein certain areas thatstimonies of how God protected her physically, financially, etc. over the years and her truth in her stories were enough to establish a great faith in me that formed foundations that cannot and will not be shaken. I am so thankful for that.

Back in August my dishwasher broke, I have not had it fixed. The other day, I thought, “Why haven’t I just had the stupid thing fixed or even buy another one” I even had some extra cash that would have done just that two weeks ago but I decided to spend it elsewhere. This morning, it hit me like a ton of bricks. It easy for me to get my dishwasher fixed, load it up and be on my merry way. However, over the past few months I have learned first hand to be “so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink” . I have found myself praying and talking to God during those times of cleaning my dishes. It is like a great kids church object lesson. As I clean the dishes, God is cleaning my thoughts, feelings, and revealing to me insight on my life, my children’s lives, and so much more. I am so thankful that I have seen the testimony of my precious grandmother become relevant in my life today. It once again shows how living a life committed to Christ can be rewarding even after you have gone on to be with Jesus. How the prayers and testimonies you have today will affect the lives of people tomorrow. My hope is that my children will be able to say one day that they are “so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink”.

So….these are the Days of Our Lives…. March 7, 2011

The past week was sorta crazy! We had a lot going on as well as the boys have been feeling under the weather again. I will hit some highlights of my week though. I really enjoyed breakfast with my precious friend Candy this week. We were excited to be host a baby shower for our sweet friend Kelli. We never really need a reason t to get together and eat….but hey….we made one. We had to do some planning! LOL! However, that afternoon we found out Kelli was in the hospital. boo…. The good thing is her sweet baby boy will get to be at the shower when we get to have it. LOL! Saying lots of prayers for Kelli and baby Grayson.

Wednesday morning I so enjoyed getting to go back to Bible study. For those of you Grace ladies who are not involved in the Ezer study. Please take it in the fall. It is amazing and will totally rock your world and change your life forever. I am in a group with such a great group of ladies.

Wednesday afternoon Eli started getting sick again. Fever, chills, and sneezing his head off. Poor fellow. By Wednesday night Bleeze was crying with an earache….So that bring Thursday morning…..trip to the doctor…..

At the doctor they determined both boys had ear infections and that Eli has a sinus infection as well. The doctor feels both boys are experiencing secondary infections from having the flu in January. GREAT! I could kick myself this year. I have always be very persistent in giving my boys probiotics. I swear by them. This winter, I have slacked off and they have been sick more this winter than in the past 3 years. I could just kick myself. So today… I am off to purchase my sweet boys new probiotics. I got to get them healthy.

Thursday night was so fun. I headed out for GNO (girls night out) I swear every time I say GNO I think of two things 1. The gynecologist (dont ask me why?) 2. Miley Cyrus song GNO….neither thought is pleasant. However , my GNO was great! We enjoyed a yummy meal at Purple International Bistro and Sushi. So good and I loved the atmosphere and most of all the company. I will be forever thankful to Candy for introducing me to such a wonderful group of ladies. They are amazing.

Friday the boys begged to go see Nanny Mary and she consented for a sleepover, so Tommy and I took advantage of the opportunity to have a “date night” we went downtown Greenville and enjoyed Sassafras. We eat out a LOT and by far it was some of the best food I have had in a LONG time. It was delicious! I love the atmosphere there also. After dinner we went to see the movie “Adjustment Bureau”….well.. let me just say… it wasn’t bad….but it wasn’t great… I could have waited and watched on PPV.

Saturday morning Candy and I went to visit Kelli in the hospital. Poor thing, she has been up there for days. Praying for her today as she has amnio and hopefully has her little boy tomorrow if all is well. (Kelli if you have to stay longer… I have you a ton of magazines on the way).

Saturday afternoon the boys and I went to the mall. I treated myself to two of my favorite things….Buckle and Victoria’s Secret. ahhhh….nothing like retail therapy….

Saturday night we took the boys to fun gym. They love to go there. While they had fun with their best buddies, Tommy and I did some errand running. Which included taking back my fabulous Michael Kors watch. It broke!!! I just got a credit and went on my merry way…boo…

After picking the boys up and getting them ready for bed..Eli decides to get sick again….. After going to bed he was having a horrible time swallowing and catching his breath to the point he vomited. I am not sure if he over did it at fun gym.. or what….but he was sick again all day yesterday with a horrible sore throat and low-grade fever. I am allowing him to sleep today in hopes that he feels better. If not it looks like we are headed back to the doctor. …

Sunday… I played the nurse to sick Eli….poor fellow. He can barely swallow. He is on an antibiotic so I am not sure what is going on. I also was inspired by Candy to bargain grocery shop. I sat for 2 hours and compared sale ads and coupons for the best deals. My research took me to two different stores. Ingles and Publix. I went last night at 8pm. I had not bought groceries in two weeks and with two growing boys we go through a lot of food. We were out of everything. I spent $238.85 and saved $128.27. That is including a lot of health and beauty and cleaning products so all in all… I think I did very well. Tommy was pleased because in the past when we have been low on everything….the bill has been close to $400.00 so no complaints last night. Whoot…whoot!

There you have it….the past few days of my life. LOL! Today…. hopefully is going to be a great day! The sun is shining and I am hopeful. I made a decision this past weekend. In the past, I used to blog about all sorts of things from religion, politics, current events, etc. I kinda jumped off the band wagon because of being busy and people always having something to say (good and negative) about my blogs. I decided this weekend that it time for me to start back blogging my thoughts and feelings…not that my readers really care, but it makes me feel better…”the truth sets you free”. I have had many people say, “I wish you blogged the way you used too” So here’s to you guys….be watching for more “thoughtful” blogging than just my daily life. I can’t promise you that it is always going to be what you want to hear…but I can promise you…it is how I feel…so until next time…. Love to all!

Well, once again, I have been a slacker. LOL!!! I have been delayed in the blogging…. So here it goes…

What’s new?

Not much, I have been very busy with Allie B. Originals. I am so thankful for business. I also have been very busy with the boys and just life itself. Everyone knows how it gets. I have a million thoughts in my mind that I want to blog about. I am hoping to eventually get myself structured enough to complete some of these blogs. I have actually started making a list. I think that for now though….going to show some gratitude and be on my way to another busy day. Today is cleaning day and it has to get done because living with the three pigs… the house stays a mess! Hope everyone has a great week ahead!!!

Crazy Day Yesterday February 16, 2011

Yesterday was crazy! Tommy and Eli spent the day in Charolotte and Bleeze and I spent the day in Asheville. So funny! Yesterday I spent the day running tons of errands! I have been really busy working on new designs for Allie B. Originals!! Can’t wait to share some of them with everyone.

Today is no less crazy! I have been running like a chicken with its head cut off. Just thought I would take a minute to clear my head by writing a quickpress blog! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Until I figure it all out…. February 15, 2011

So, until I figure everything out on transferring blogs. Just going to share a little bit. We had a hard two week of sickness in our house. Both boys had the flu and Bleeze turned into ear and sinus infections but now he is all better. Thank the LORD!

Sunday night I went to church with my entire family. We went to see Lee University Campus Choir. So good! We enjoyed dinner afterwards.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day! The day for love. Tommy was really good to me this year. Tickets to see Sugarland (very good tickets), Roses, chocolates, and a wonderful dinner at City Range. I showered him with different cards all day long. Some funny, some serious! However, all about LOVE! The boys loved their little treats too! I had planned on having them a Valentine Party but with the flu…it was impossible.

So for now, I am going to get ready. I have to go to Asheville today for the business! Hope everyone has a great day!

Weekend Wrap-Up March 21, 2011

The past weekend went by really fast! I was kinda blown away at how quickly it seems to be over. Especially since we did not do anything over the top nor were we really busy.

Early Friday afternoon started our weekend. Tommy finished up work early and spent some time in the back yard with Bleeze. The put out all the tball garb Bleeze got from Santa and Bleeze played ALL afternoon. Eli went with me to the mall and to Old Navy! I am so thankful for the 30% off coupon and that 5% of my sale with to the juvenile Diabetes Association. I got the boys a few things because with this warm weather I have discovered how much Eli has truly grown. His shorts are all too short and some are too tight. He is now taller than me (doesn’t take much) but nevertheless, my baby boy is bigger than me.

Friday night we had a great night sitting in the backyard as a family and eating our pizza and wings! So much fun! I am thrilled that it is now spring and we will be able to do that more often. I hope to really make my backyard look great in the next few weeks. It has always been a dream of mine to have a “sanctuary” so to speak in my backyard.

Saturday was filled with outdoor play for the boys and work for me. I am really excited at how my business is taking off and ever grateful to all of those who have been instrumental in helping me! Saturday night we went to Charlotte to celebrate my sweet sister-in-laws birthday! We enjoyed a marvelous dinner at Foskoskies! It was so good. Tommy and I both could have licked our plates clean…not to mention both boys cleaned their plates (that is a miracle for Bleeze). We then enjoyed dessert and coffee back at my parents house where I snapped a few cute pics of the kids playing. Bleeze and Makenzie were playing “old school” trying on shoes. I thought it was hilarious! Bleeze was the salesman and Makenzie was the princess buying shoes at Wal-Mart. LOL!

Sunday was nice and relaxing. We went to church. I just love to hear the sermons at Grace church! They are always so enlightening and uplifting. We then went to our normal “sunday lunch” place as the boys call it. Bojangles! Not the healthiest place but is very yummy. I spent the rest of the afternoon helping Tommy set up his new iPad and reading the controversy over Rob Bell’s new book “Love Wins” which I purchased to read and review for myself.

To end the weekend we enjoyed small group and snuggle time with the boys All in all… GREAT WEEKEND!

Looking forward to all this week has to bring, knowing it is going to be filled with awesome!

Cars…. and worn out knees… March 19, 2011

My sweet Bleeze being the five-year old boy he is has an obsession with cars. He LOVES them and he loves to play with them. I get so tickled, he actually pretends they are people at times and talks them. I love to listen to him play. He loves to go to car shows. He went to his first car show when he was two and he loved it more than Eli. He knows makes and models and his favorite is the FORD MUSTANG! He spots them everywhere we go! This is just a “few” we literally have hundreds of cars. We have “inside” cars and cars for just playing “outside”.

He used to say that he wanted to be a “wrecker” driver but now he wants to own a factory that makes “wreckers”! LOL! At a local flea market he purchased some pre-owned HotWheels out of a basket. They had them 4 for $1.00. We let him pick 8. It took 20 minutes for him to go through each one. This week I took him to Target because they have HotWheels for .79 each and it thirty minutes for him to pick 3! He enjoyed going to the eye doctor with my mom this week because he sat and looked at a “Mechanics Today” magazine. Not to mention his love for the Disney movie CARS! He loves all of it!

At Christmas time he was in desperate need of jeans. He kinda got overloaded because I told several people that was a need at the time. In the past few weeks, I have noticed that several pairs have holes in the left knee. I have gotten really upset because so many of his jeans are messed up! This week it hit me….it is from playing cars. Here is a picture of him this morning. He puts that left knee down on the floor, ground etc. while he plays. I am not exaggerating when I say he plays cars for hours at a time!

I decided not to be mad about the holes in his pants. I mean, I can purchase more pants, after all, he is only this size for a very short amount of time. While, I really don’t think his love for cars will fade, the love for “playing” cars will! He will eventually graduate to “playing” cars by driving them, working on and washing them , maybe even be a famous Nascar race car driver. Who knows, he may own that factory one day that “makes wreckers”,but for now, I am going to cherish every moment of his “left knee” car playing!!

I have to share this picture from yesterday! Bleeze was play cars on the end table in our living room. If you notice, my camera is sitting there. I picked it up to move it and he said, “Can you leave it there, it is my “security camera” in my parking lot! PRECIOUS!!!!!

Name Brand Favorites… March 19, 2011

My best friend has been blogging for years also and she often blogs her “favorite” things of the week. Reading her blog the other day I started to think about things that I like and dislike at the moment. One thing that came to my mind is purchasing generic products. I am all for saving money! For those of you who know me, I am all about finding a sale and a bargain! Got a huge savings at Old Navy yesterday on some spring clothes for the boys and it made my day! It is an actual “high” for me to get good deals. However, I am a FIRM believer that you “get what you pay for”. My hubby made a good point the other day that he would rather have fewer items as long as what he purchase was good quality he was willing to pay more.

Well, there are a few items that I will pay the full price for, items that I REFUSE to buy generic. Now, don’t get me wrong, if we were starving to death or did not have the money to buy them, I would buy generic, but if the funds are there, I will not purchase certain things “off brand” unless it is a dire financial emergency.

Here are a few examples

Campbell’s Soup….. not only can I tell the difference, but I have found that when trying to save money and I purchase an”off-brand” or store brand my hubby and kids notice something different about the texture of casseroles, etc. So that is one example of my weird obsession.

Laundry detergent! Now this is a must…. I have two boys who are ever so messy! I have found that in order to save clothes and get out horrible stains either Tide or Gain is the ONLY way to go. I have purchased less expensive detergents but I am never satisfied. It is well worth the extra money to me to know that the numerous stained up items I wash each week are always going to come clean!

Crest toothpaste. Now I have tried NUMEROUS different brands of toothpaste. Not just because of price point but because I have an obsession with oral hygiene. I have found that any product crest puts out their holds up to their advertisement and I am happy and cavity free! Not to mention…. I like the taste!

Next is TOILET PAPER ! Scott is my preferred brand….now, I know this is a less expensive brand but…. it is the best for the buck! I used to HATE scott toilet paper, but it really does last longer and with three guys in the house! , it is a must! My hubby and I used to actually argue over it but in the past 15 years I have come to realize, he is right so ..Scott it is! I can buy a bulk pack of Scott toilet paper and it last a month. I buy other brands and I have to buy it weekly. In the past year I have come to find that I like to purchase the paper towels also!

Another one is Now, I know…this stuff is really gross…no matter how you look at it but…. even as a kid I could tell a difference when my mother purchase a store or off brand in any of this disgusting junk. My sweet boys hate it therefore I don’t have to buy it! LOL! But I always think of my love for it as a child when I think of purchasing name brand!

Now, for you and the “south’ you are totally going to get the next one…. It is mayo…. You cannot purchase anything but

DUKES! It is the best. When I was a child and we lived up “north” we had it shipped to us! It is great! As we say here in the south…”We eat our salad dressing on our salad, not our sandwich”

These three cleaning products are a must. I have purchased all the “generic” and store brands and none of them compare to my love for these three products. I know some people and even myself have issues with the “environment” issues of each of these products but I do not feel my house is clean unless I use these. (I know, I am sick) LOL!

So for years now I have struggled with jeans! I am short and I just have e a horrible time. I even argued with my bestie once that I would NEVER find jeans to fit me the want I wanted. Two years ago I went with her advice and tried on a pair of jeans at Buckle (my favorite store…thanks Candy). I have never been the same…now I know… some of you say, they are too expensive. But as I stated before….YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR (not to mention, they have layaway). You can also find wonderful savings online or the particular brands website. I for one , love the fact that Buckle has free alterations and not only can I get the perfect fit but the perfect length. I even got my “tight wad” hubby wearing jeans from there. I love the BKU brands, Big Star, and my favorite is the MEK!

Okay…so now you all see some of my sick obsessions, I have a ton more from cosmetics, etc. to underwear but this blog is getting LONG. Anyway, I guess I was thinking about all this and “bringing it back to the gospel” as they say. It made me think…. how glad I am that God does not have “favorite” brands or even things! We would all be in trouble. What if God chose who he loved by our size, quality, color, texture, shape, how hard we work (or didn’t work), how much we cost, how well we cleaned, how we tasted, what we ate, where we lived, vacationed, etc.? We would all be screwed!

No… instead, God loves us just as we are. No matter our “off-brand” flaws. In his eyes, we are all name brand! Thank goodness!

recap of the past few days…. March 16, 2011

I had a rather busy weekend and with the time change I am really tired.

My weekend fun started on Thursday. Tommy purchased me Sugarland tickets for Valentines day and thanks to our good buddy Shane we had some awesome seats! Thanks Shane! The concert was so good. I just love Sugarland! It was quiet the show. I enjoyed every minute of it! I especially loved the dress that Jennifer wore! I so want it. I asked on twitter and facebook who the designer was but had no luck in finding out.

Friday night we went to see our precious friend Hannah in her school play. She was amazing and I was so proud of her! She ROCKS! The boys and I enjoyed having dinner and hanging out with Candy and Hannah. It was such fun!

Saturday was rather crazy. Errands in the morning and then we had my sister0-in-law Jessica’s baby shower. We just can’t wait to meet Baby Tanner. The shower was nice and it was fun to see all the cute little baby items.

Sunday we had clock troubles with the time change and it really turned into a blessing. A electrical cord in Eli’s room caught on fire, so thank God we missed church or our house would have burned completely down. We enjoyed a yummy lunch with my parents at the Chinese Buffet and then headed to a sweet ladies funeral. It was so nice to hear of all the wonderful stories. It made me wonder what people would say about me if I died.. After the funeral Tommy enjoyed two of our favorite things…coke Icee and Buckle ! LOL!! Got me some cute things!

I have been totally consumed with the earthquake in Japan. It is so sad. I pray for peace for them all very soon.

To God Be the Glory March 10, 2011

Whew…today has been such a long day! I am worn out. Even though today was long it was a good day! I had an awesome Bible study this morning, several appointments, got my hair cut and colored, ran errands, and managed to do some work this evening while watching American Idol. I really do not have a lot to share today but I did want to share something that was really awesome.

We have been singing an old Hymn that was changed up a bit through our worship leader at church. They posted the song and chords on Facebook today. I love this old song and I must have listened to it a zillion times while checking emails. I have posted the song along with the CaringBridge page that I read while reading it. This truly was the best part of the day! Hope it blesses you all.

•What a great day!! I got wonderful news in Charleston. My liver tolerated the radiation treatment well, I still have perfect liver function and the best news is that the radiation is really working. He said there was significant shrinking of tumors on my liver. Both doctors were very pleased at how well I am doing and had nothing but positive things to say. It was indeed a very peaceful, great day and we walked away filled with so much HOPE!
Thank you for all of your faithful prayers for me! One of the doctors said to keep on doing whatever it is I’m doing because it’s working. So keep praying, believing and trusting.

so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink… March 7, 2011

Today I am so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. Now that is something you don’t hear everyday. However, I remember once as a little girl I went to church with my grandmother. It was one of those old-time services when they used to have “testimony” service. You know…where everyone would stand up and say, “I want to thank the Lord, for all he’s done for me” . I kinda miss those services in a way. It showed what you were thankful for and what others were thankful and could sometimes be a great reminder of things you take for granted.

I remember that my sweet granny stood up and thanked the Lord for her dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. I remember even as a child, I thought..”Why in the world would you be thankful for that?”. Then I listened to her sweet testimony. She told how everyday when she washed her dishes she would have prayer time with God. Sometimes she would pray, but mostly she would listen to God and what he had to say to her. I thought…”boy, I bet over the years, she has had a lot to pray about.” Her mother died when she was 6 leaving her the oldest of her siblings and she cared for them on her own while her father worked away up the hills of Tennessee, she married a total loser and had 12 children, she raised all them by herself, worked in the cotton mill, buried several of her children as infants and adults, help raise many of her grandchildren, survived the depression and so much more. The list goes on and on, yet she was probably the most genuine person that has ever been in my life. She was a Godly woman and she loved the Lord so much. She left behind a great legacy…. all of her children were believers in Christ. Our family tree is full of children/grandchildren serving God in ministry, great singers, and much more.

She taught me not to be fearful of many things such as thunderstorms and harm. She often told me “as long as you got the Lord, you are fine” that is true…”as long as you got the Lord, you are fine”. She gave countless tein certain areas thatstimonies of how God protected her physically, financially, etc. over the years and her truth in her stories were enough to establish a great faith in me that formed foundations that cannot and will not be shaken. I am so thankful for that.

Back in August my dishwasher broke, I have not had it fixed. The other day, I thought, “Why haven’t I just had the stupid thing fixed or even buy another one” I even had some extra cash that would have done just that two weeks ago but I decided to spend it elsewhere. This morning, it hit me like a ton of bricks. It easy for me to get my dishwasher fixed, load it up and be on my merry way. However, over the past few months I have learned first hand to be “so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink” . I have found myself praying and talking to God during those times of cleaning my dishes. It is like a great kids church object lesson. As I clean the dishes, God is cleaning my thoughts, feelings, and revealing to me insight on my life, my children’s lives, and so much more. I am so thankful that I have seen the testimony of my precious grandmother become relevant in my life today. It once again shows how living a life committed to Christ can be rewarding even after you have gone on to be with Jesus. How the prayers and testimonies you have today will affect the lives of people tomorrow. My hope is that my children will be able to say one day that they are “so thankful for dirty dishes in the kitchen sink”.

So….these are the Days of Our Lives…. March 7, 2011

The past week was sorta crazy! We had a lot going on as well as the boys have been feeling under the weather again. I will hit some highlights of my week though. I really enjoyed breakfast with my precious friend Candy this week. We were excited to be host a baby shower for our sweet friend Kelli. We never really need a reason t to get together and eat….but hey….we made one. We had to do some planning! LOL! However, that afternoon we found out Kelli was in the hospital. boo…. The good thing is her sweet baby boy will get to be at the shower when we get to have it. LOL! Saying lots of prayers for Kelli and baby Grayson.

Wednesday morning I so enjoyed getting to go back to Bible study. For those of you Grace ladies who are not involved in the Ezer study. Please take it in the fall. It is amazing and will totally rock your world and change your life forever. I am in a group with such a great group of ladies.

Wednesday afternoon Eli started getting sick again. Fever, chills, and sneezing his head off. Poor fellow. By Wednesday night Bleeze was crying with an earache….So that bring Thursday morning…..trip to the doctor…..

At the doctor they determined both boys had ear infections and that Eli has a sinus infection as well. The doctor feels both boys are experiencing secondary infections from having the flu in January. GREAT! I could kick myself this year. I have always be very persistent in giving my boys probiotics. I swear by them. This winter, I have slacked off and they have been sick more this winter than in the past 3 years. I could just kick myself. So today… I am off to purchase my sweet boys new probiotics. I got to get them healthy.

I have a million thoughts in my mind that I want to blog about. I am hoping to eventually get myself structured enough to complete some of these blogs. I have actually started making a list. I think that for now though….going to show some gratitude and be on my way to another busy day. Today is cleaning day and it has to get done because living with the three pigs… the house stays a mess! Hope everyone has a great week ahead!!!

Crazy Day Yesterday February 16, 2011

Yesterday was crazy! Tommy and Eli spent the day in Charolotte and Bleeze and I spent the day in Asheville. So funny! Yesterday I spent the day running tons of errands! I have been really busy working on new designs for Allie B. Originals!! Can’t wait to share some of them with everyone.

Today is no less crazy! I have been running like a chicken with its head cut off. Just thought I would take a minute to clear my head by writing a quickpress blog! Hope everyone is having a great day!

Until I figure it all out…. February 15, 2011

So, until I figure everything out on transferring blogs. Just going to share a little bit. We had a hard two week of sickness in our house. Both boys had the flu and Bleeze turned into ear and sinus infections but now he is all better. Thank the LORD!

Sunday night I went to church with my entire family. We went to see Lee University Campus Choir. So good! We enjoyed dinner afterwards.

Yesterday was Valentine’s Day! The day for love. Tommy was really good to me this year. Tickets to see Sugarland (very good tickets), Roses, chocolates, and a wonderful dinner at City Range. I showered him with different cards all day long. Some funny, some serious! However, all about LOVE! The boys loved their little treats too! I had planned on having them a Valentine Party but with the flu…it was impossible.

So for now, I am going to get ready. I have to go to Asheville today for the business! Hope everyone has a great day!

Today is Martin Luther King Day and school is out. I decided homeschool will be out too. LOL! I took the kids to meet our besties! We enjoyed pizza and games with the Stone Kids at Stevie B's. I have to admit. I just enjoy getting to hang out with Candy and the kids can play and have fun there. The certainly had fun and weh really enjoyed going back to their house for some more play time. I loved hanging out with Candy all afternoon.

It has started to rain today...blah..first snow, now rain. I am so ready for some sunshine. Bleeze went with me to buy groceries tonight where I taught myself a valuable lesson (or should I say...God did) I promised Bleeze that if he had great behavior while we grocery shopped we would visit the "redbox" outside of Walmart to rent a movie. Well, he was good so off we went to the redbox. I was getting so frustrated with the stupid piece of technology and a line built behind me causing me to become evern more flustered. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. I could feel my blood pressure rise as with each time I hit the "checkout" button it would give me some excuse as to why I could not "checkout". I could feel the need to "cuss" coming on me. LOL!!! I was trying to keep my composure since I had my five year old son with me! I finally just yelled out and everyone heard me "good God Almighty". It seemed more appropriate than the words that were circulating my mind. As a I finally accomplished the task of renting 3 movies from the stupid redbox kiosk, I realized that someone I attend church with was behind me....GREAT! I know that had heard what some people may think is "taking the LORD's name in vain"...(I for one was called on the good God Almighty, for help before I lost my mind and begain to beat the machine up) I thought... thank goodness I did not say a "bad" word, she might have heard and told someone.

As I got in the car and started the ride home I began to think about my toughts. Where they thoughts based off of conviction or were they based off of pride. I came to the conclusion that they were of pride. It seemed to me that I was more concerned about what people may think if I slipped up and said a word that some people may think "inappropriate" than God. The truth of the matter is, I was. You see, I came to the conclusion that God would totally see that as me being exactly who I am, a yucky fallen sinner who gets mad and may slip a bad word. While as in the past my experiences with people....they will hold the fact you said a bad word against for years because they may feel you have "fallen" away.

Now don't get me wrong, it is not that I am justifying living carelessly and talking any way you like... I mean I know the scriptures....but the fact is... I am human...not perfect and "sin" is going to happen... and it is so GOOD to know that my Savior is a loving, kind, forgiving Savior who sees me for just who I am and knows my heart!

Wonderful Weekend....

Friday morning Tommy and I headed out of town for the weekend. Tommy purchased me a weekend getaway at the Waynesville Resort and Spa in NC. It was so nice. It is an 80 year old lodge that is unique. Our room was surrounded by wood big hardwood floor. LOL! The walls, ceiling everything. I laughed so hard because Tommy just can't escape floors. LOL!

On Friday afternoon we enjoy the sweet little town of Waynesville. It was nice to just venture in and out of the shops and we stopped for Coffee and Cake at one of the little Cafe's. Tommy got the biggest piece of cake I believe I have ever seen. The picture in this blog is just half of the piece. They had beautiful homemade cakes and candies. Friday evening we ate at the lodge at the resort at a place called The Tap Room. It was so wonderful. We went casual for this meal because we had a huge lunch at the MOOSE CAFE in Asheville on our way up. It was a nice but fun little pub. They were having Karaoke. I thought about entering but with the jackpot being $1500.00 I assumed I would loose because only really good people would compete for that. Boy was I wrong... I am not a great singer and I could have walked away with $1500.00. LOL!!!!

Saturday morning we woke up to the wonderful smells of breakfast being cooked their in the LODGE. It was amazing. Full buffet of every type of breakfast food you could think of. Needless to say....we had no lunch. LOL! We drove back into downtown Asheville and did some shopping, went to see the movie The Dilema and then enjoyed one of the most amazing meals ever at The Sweet Onion in Waynesville. I would literally drive all the way up there for the day just to eat there. It was amazing. I attached a link.

Saturday evening we just relaxed at the Lodge and took in a couple of Hallmark movies. LOL! It was nice just to chill and relax.

Sunday came oh so quick... I was missing my sweet boys but also wishing that Tommy and I had just a little more time together. We went to the Farmer's Market in Asheville and then the Biltmore Square Mall to the Dillard's Clearance Center. I made out like a bandit! We scored for all four of us some GREAT deals.

I was glad to get home to my boys this afternoon. We gave them all there surprises and then headed out to make some Christmas returns here locally. My sweet Eli had purchased me a really awesome watch for Christmas but it fell apart while we were in NC. I took it back to Belk and I kinda upgraded a bit to a Michael Kors watch. HUGE thanks to my sweet hubby! We enjoyed dinner with them at Logan's and then came home to let them see the final Hannah Montana and for me to watch the Golden Globes.

This weekend was great and none of it could have happened without my sweet hubby. I love you Tommy!

Forget Snow Day...Snow Week...

Last week I wrote I was wondering if we would get the snow they were calling for here. Well.... I need not wonder any longer. The snow has been on the ground since Sunday night. We got about 8 inches in our back yard. Tommy did not work all week so it was like a mini vacation. We were home all week. I feel like I gained 100 pounds. I did manage to get to the gym twice during this week but still...ugh... I made homemade chilli,homemade jalepeno cheesy cornbread, homemade pimento cheese, homemade Italian fries....ahhhh....It was a good week! LOL!

We did go to the mall on Tuesday. It was so strange. There was only a few stores open. We had fun with the Stone crew though. We just hung out and ate lunch at Shomars and yogurt from Tutti Frutti! It was nice to get out of the house.

Tonight we took our two little monkeys downtown to Liberty's Tap Room. We wanted to spend some time with them because we are headed out of town for the weekend in the morning. So, until Sunday, have a great weekend everybody and enjoy our snow week pics.

Sunday has become one of my favorite days. It is a day to be with the family as well as good friends. We went to church this morning. Where Bleeze made some cute glasses to look for ways to be kind this week. (I hope he uses them). Then we were off to our usual Bojangles. So good and then we did a little shopping. The back home for some playtime and relaxing. Just hung out, watched some TV and then headed to small group. I just love our small group. We have such great discussion and I feel honored to be in this group. I love you guys!

Family Date Night

Well this week it is family date night. We chose to stay home, order Chinese, and watch movies. The boys had fun and so did we. It was nice to just stay in and do nothing. Tonight I had a great date. My date was with one of the cutest guys ever...Mr. Bleeze Bagwell. He was so much fun tonight. Everyweek we try to do something with the boys one on one. This week my time was devoted to Bleeze. While Tommy took Eli to see "True Grit", I took my little guy to Stevie B's pizza.

He loves him some pizza. In fact it is one of the VERY few things he will eat. He had a blast playing all the games. I guess the most excited part was when we played the "claw"game. He one a monkey and then I tried an won a cow. We were so excited. We were screaming. He was so proud of himself! All I could think of was Toy Story! LOL!

After dinner we went to Dollar Tree and Kohls. Khols was wiped out from Christmas. If anyone is having a baby though. I would go. they had clothes for $2.00. (I was looking for my sweet little nephew on the way Tanner).

So for now... I am going to go wait on the big guys to get home. Bleeze is sleeping and I am getting sleepy! nightie night.

Being the "to do list" kinda girl I am, I love to be able to "check" off and today was one of those days. I completed so many task on my "to do list" that makes me sooo happy when I have days like that!

After a long day of homeschooling and paperwork, we went to look at some new dining room furniture and out to dinner with my parents. YUMMY El Jalisco! Then I went to buy groceries and had an awesome work out! Ended the night watching two of my favorite shows....Parenthood and No Ordinary Family. Now for sleep. I seem to be pretty wired up though. I had an energy drink before the work out. I am thinking I may pay for now when it is time to sleep!

With the era of social media one thing has become clear to me, that being that people are people. Just fallen humans that if not for the Grace of God would be worthless. Over the past years from myspace, twitter, facebook, I have come and gone on people's "friend" list. It is really amusing if you think about it. You get mad at someone, you get offended by someone...You just "delete" them. How cool is that? honestly....not to cool.

Well, to be completely honest, I have always thought it to be childish or what I like to refer to as "middle-school" behavior. Recently a dear friend of mine expressed to me that she had to go through and delete a large number of people from her facebook due to the fact that when she read certain things from their pages it affected her entire day. Her attitude, mood, etc. She realized that it was not worth the stress to have these individuals as part of her "social network". I can understand that. I recently have had to do some "cleaning" up of my social network friends also. This was not really done by choice but because of a particular situation that I have been faced with. I was legally advised to delete all people associated with this situation as well as anyone they were tied too also. Not only delete...but block. Yes, you can block someone...it is as if though that person doesn't even exist. At a human standpoint it is wonderful. At a Christ like standpoint, I find it to be very sad. Some people I really did not want to delete but they had to be deleted due to association. Not really fair...but then again...life is not fair. I know I probably offended some people that I had to delete but I really had no other choice. Sad...but true.

These situations got me to thinking about God. You know if he could delete or block us because of our wrongs or offenses, we would be in big trouble. What if he deleted or blocked us just because of association? That would be horrible! Instead, he chooses to love us with an unconditional love. A love like no other. I am so glad that I serve the true and living God that would never delete or block me from his salvation, love, mercy, grace and very presence.

New Years Resolution or plan?

I am one not to make a New Year's resolution, simply because I know that I will never follow through with it. Instead, I tend to be a daily goal setter. I try to make it a game in my own mind...You know to complete task, goals, etc. for each day. If I do, I reward myself. With what? Nothing really....just the pure satisfaction of completion. That is enough for me. I have to say that I VERY happy to see 2010 gone. Ugh...for the most part, it was not that great of a year, but it could have been way worse and that is why I have to count my blessings because I know that it could have been worse. Even when it seemed that life could not get harder I know that it could have. It has it shares of ups and downs and basically huge disappointments for me but I am looking ahead to 2011. I am just going to try to live each day, seeking God for only the wisdom he can give as to how to live each day.

The first few days of this new year I have purposed in my heart to do a few more things. Listen more closely to God and to write lots of things down. I think that if you write things down you are more likely to do them, see them come to pass, and also see that "satisfaction of completion" that I was talking about earlier.

Another thing that I really want to do is to continue to blog but the way that I used to blog. I really want to express myself once again through blogging. When I first started to blog, I blogged out of love for writing and telling my thoughts and feelings. I quickly discovered that I offened some people with some of my thoughts and feelings but isnt' that what writing your thoughts down and putting them out there for the entire to world to read will do? So that is one thing I plan on doing this year...not a resolution but a plan. LOL!

Well... I think I will count some blessings and show some gratitude before I hit the sack....good night all....

New Year's Fun

New Year's Eve and New Years Day was so much fun. Candy and I are so lucky. Our two guys took us to a celebration at the Hilton. We enjoyed a great dinner and party (it was okay I did have fun making every attempt to dance, but the most fun was ordering room service up to our room after midnight, watching tv, and looking at fashion magazines. LOL! It was sweet of our two guys to do that for us. We enjoyed a great night and then today we went to see The Little Fockers. For those of you who know me, you know that Meet the Parents is one of my all time favorite movies. LOL!

After the movies. We picked our little munchkins up...(thanks Nanny Mary for keeping them for us to go out and have a great little weekend) then we went to the mall. I got some cute things from Victoria's Secret (thanks Candy) and I also got a shirt I had been wanting from Buckle (thanks Tommy). LOL! After our mall trip we came home to McDonald's and movies. Fun, fun day! Happy New Year everybody!!!

Happy New's Years Early Fun...

The past couple of days I have just spent some time hanging with my boys. We have played with their toys they got for Christmas and just been plain lazy. It has been fun. Today we did venture out though. We went to the mall with our best buddies. The boys had fun with the Stone kids and as always I had fun with Candy. We were trying to find me a dress to wear on New Years. We must have been crazy to take 5 children to the mall and try to dress shop. We did find some deals and had a blast in the process. The kids just love being together. They had fun spending their Christmas gift cards, etc. I wish everyday could be this fun.

Then tonight we had a New Year's/Birthday party celeberation with our dear friend's the Clisham's. It was a pleasure to meet Karen's mom (mum) all the way from England and help celebrate her birthday. I always have so much fun with them. Tons of laughs. Tonight was filled with great food, drinks, and fun! The kids loved the fireworks Mr. Lloyd bought (I did too) we are lucky to have such sweet friends across the street!

Snow Day...

Well...we got our Christmas Snow. Today has been all about playing in the snow. The boys played all morning in the snow and then we went to see Guilver's Travel's at the movies. Such a funny movie. I LOVE Jack Black. After the movie we came back home to enjoy some movie time in our theater room and ordered pizza. Perfect day after Christmas!!!!

Merry Christmas....

We had a very Merry Christmas today! We are so blessed. We have managed to make our own traditions over the years. For example....we go NO where on Christmas Day, we stay in PJ's all day, play, sleep, eat, and order Chinese for dinner. So much fun!

The boys loved having my parents as well as Tommy's mom and sister here to open Santa. They loved everything that they received and were so sweet about it all. My mom brought the annual Sausage roll for breakfast and we also snacked on Christmas goodies all afternoon. So much fun!

Tommy's Dad and wife came by to bring the kids their gifts this afternoon. It was nice to see them on Christmas Day as well as to see the snow that started falling while they were vistiing. It is beautiful!

The kids played with different neighborhood kids all day (in pj's) we sang Happy Birthday to Jesus and last but not least enjoyed a yummy Chinese carry out as usual. Happy Birthday Jesus and Merry Christmas everybody!!!

Christmas Eve

Today was wonderful. We always have Christmas with my family on Christmas Eve. We enjoyed opening presents together. The kids were so patient waiting on Tommy to get back from checking on a job. After opening all the presents we enjoyed a yummy dinner as always from my parents. I even took a picture of my plate. It was so good. I love my family and so happy to have this time with them every year.

We also opened our gifts from one another. So much fun. My boys are so sweet. I love everything the boys and Tommy purchased for me. They are all three precious!

Tonight we made Jesus birthday cake for tomorrow, Santa's cookies and we spread reindeer food. It was fun night. Nanny Mary and Aunt Tracy are spending the night with us tonight and as always it is fun to have them all here with us. So for now. Enjoy the pics. I gotta get to bed so Santa will come (wink, wink).

So today has been tons of fun. I went with my brother and sisterinlaw shopping. We had so much fun just laughing and hanging out. We enjoyed a very yummy Mexican lunch and just had a blast. I feel very lucky to have them near us now!

Tonight we had Christmas with our wonderful friends the Stone's. I told Tommy I felt like I was getting ready for my sister and her family to come over. LOL! We enjoyed food, fun, and movies. It was so warm and cozy! I love them and so grateful to have them in my life! We were crazy though and did not event take in pics. This will have to be one of those times the memories have to stick in our minds forever. LOL!

The picture in this blog is of Jessica today. We went to Kmart. I am assuming because their stock is getting low they lined the shelves with rubber-maid totes. It is hilarious to see!

Well, I was sick the past couple of days. Turns out I had a double ear and sinus infection. There is nothing worse than running at temperature...well...actually there is a lot worse but still. I hate being cold and I have had chills for three days. I was sad that I did not make the small group Christmas gathering or was I able to go and carol at the nursing home. I did not want to risk caring any sort of cold germs to anyone. But thank the Lord, I am feeling much better and ready for Christmas. Eric, Jessica, and Makenzie are coming in today, and I am looking forward to having Christmas with our dear friends the Stone's tomorrow night. So for now... I am off to make some Christmas goodies. Oh... and they are calling for a white Christmas.. (I will believe it when I see it).

Family Fun in Charlotte

Well, tonight we went to Charlotte to be with my brother and his family for his dinner show. He did a wonderful job on the production and I have never been more proud. The food was excellent (catered by my Dad and the music was wonderful) We had fun and it was so nice to be with my family. Especially Eric, Jessica, and Makenzie and baby Tanner that is on the way for the first time during the holiday season.They have always lived so far away. I kinda feel like I am coming down with something. Praying that I am not though. Gotta get some sleep...church and more family fun tomorrow.

It's official....I ran a temperature all night long, my ear is killing me, I am coughing, and I just feel horrid. No church for me today. Big thank you to my sweet Eli who took care of me in the night by getting me medicine and extra blankets. Such a sweet boy. I did manage to work up the strength to go to Tommy's family gathering for Christmas. It was nice to be with my Mother-in-law's family. They always make me smile. They are so funny! The boys went home with Nanny Mary and Tommy and I went to a few more stores for the boys. I continued to feel like crap but did manage to feel better when my sweet man took me to yogurt mountain. So for now.. I am going to bed an planning on visiting the doctor in the morning!

Today I did some more shoppping and then was a little sad that my ladies small group could not get together for Christmas as planned but it did allow me to go for some shopping and fun with my sweet hubby. We had dinner and then did some shopping. We actually closed down Walmart again. LOL! Only one week until Christmas!!!!

Gingerbread House Fun

Well, this morning I spent some time shopping. That always makes me smile... ;0).

Then this afternoon the boys spent 3 hours constructing this beautiful gingerbread house. This has been a tradition in our home since Eli was born. I have always helped them do it. This year though, they informed me that I am no longer needed. LOL! They wanted to do it on their own. Just another sign that they are growing up. :0(. So for now....I will enjoy watching them and their creativity.

Well....today was the day. My big boy turned 12. It seems like yesterday I was holding him for the very first time in my arms. Looking at those big blue eyes just stare around....so cute. Time has flown by. I must say, he is such a joy and a pleasure to have as a son. We are blessed. I told him tonight that he is going to grow up to be a mighty man of God. In fact.... he is already becoming a mighty man of God.

Today was fun as he went to his favorite Chickfila for lunch and did a little shopping. He chose his favorite meal of spaghetti and meatballs and he did not want a cake but he wanted Mom-ma to make him a sweet potatoe pie. He is so funny! He was so happy to have my parents here with him to enjoy his birthday dinner and pie along with watching Despicable Me. SUCH A SWEET MOVIE. I really want me a little Agnes to come live with us. She was precious. So for now. Some Gratitude for my sweet boy Eli.

These are some of my favorite things about Eli...just a few...

1. That is my gift from God. I have always told him he is my angel.

2. His love for God.

3. His strong convictions and how I see him growing into becoming more "man-like"

4. His absolute love for dogs

5. The leadership qualities that he has even now as a 12 year old boy are unreal and let me know that he is going to be a great leader one day.

6. The way he thinks of his room as his apartment and keeps it so clean and "hip"

7. The way he has such sweet moments with is brothers despite the times he argues with him.

8. The way he reminds me so much of his father. (the good and the bad...LOL) gotta love it all.

9. His polite nature

10. His servants heart towards others.

11. The way that I have to say to him every night. "I love you, see you bright and early in the morning sunshine" or he can't go to sleep.

I could go on and on but I am tired....LOL! Plus I think a mother could never express all her love for her children. Eli is a wonderful child and I am so blessed to be his mom. Happy Birthday precious boy!

Sweet Sunday

Today was "sweet" as the kids say! We went to church which the sermon was amazing and so convicting. It really opened my eyes to a lot of sin in my life that helps create sin in others lives. I will elaborate later...LOL!

After church we went to what our boys refer to as our "sunday lunch place" BOJANGLES....LOL! I wouldn't trade those Sundays that we go and eat there for anything! I love watching Bleeze devour (literally) chicken legs. LOL!!!

After lunch we came home for a bit before heading out to the mall. Eli got mostly money this year at his bday party and needless to say it was burning a hole in his pocket. We had fun shopping among all the Christmas shopping that was going on and actually managed to pick up a few things ourselves.

Tonight we went to community group which is always great! We enjoyed a lot of great conversation on what I like to think of as "personal convictions". I love our new community group and I love the transparency that we all feel we can bring and discuss among one another and grow from each other.

Now after watching Tommy clean out his closet for hours I am exhausted..LOL! I am ready to snooze! Good night folks!!!

Party Day...

Today was the big party day for Eli. His birthday is not until Tuesday but today was the day we decided to party! He had a movie themed party and had the party here at the house in the new theater room. As usual this time of year is such a bad time of year to have a birthday party. People are so busy with the holidays as well as a ton of sickness going around. I am very grateful to all our friends and family who were able to come out and celebrate his special day! I did a popcorn/movie reel themed cake and it was a ton of fun. The popcorn cake looked better than the movie reel.(tommy said the movie reel looked like a soccer ball) LOL!!!! The kids had fun watching The Last Airbender and just hanging out. I was very slack with pics from being busy. I did enjoy hanging out with our friends and family and I am grateful for this wonderful time to celebrate my sweet fellow!

After Eli's party the boys headed to their little friend Alec's bday party at the YMCA. They had fun swimming! We ran an errand and then after we picked them up we had an old favorite...El Jalisco! YUMMY!

This evening I finally got to enjoy the theater room. We curled up and watched a movie and just relaxed. Looking forward to church in the morning!

Thank God today is Friday! Eli is so excited about his birthday party this weekend. This evening Eli went to his fusion Chrismtas party at church. He had so much fun! While he was at his party Tommy and I took advantage of the alone time with Bleeze and ordered Chinese (He loves that) we sat around and ate our food and laughed where Bleeze informed us that he felt like he would be "responsible" when he turns 6 years old. (That is good to know) Tommy got the furniture for the theater room and then this evening after Bleeze went to bed Tommy and Eli watched a movie then we surprised him with him with a new outfit he had been wanting to wear to his bday party tomorrow. Me? I have spent the evening finishing up his birthday cake and cleaning house for our guest in the morning! Can't wait to celebrate my big boy! nightie night!

Disney and the Peddler....

Today was a great day!I managed to get a ton accomplished from homeschool, business, etc. However the best part was this afternoon. My parents took Bleeze and my niece Makenzie to see Disney Princess on Ice. So Tommy and I took advantage of the opportunity to go out with Eli just us three. We had a very yummy dinner at the Peddler. I have to admit that it was very strange without Bleeze but at the same time it was fun to watch Eli just eat and talk and see what an amazing kid he truly is. He is so funny! He thought it was awesome that we let him order an adult meal and he got a big HUGE ribeye steak and he ate almost all of it. LOL!

After dinner we took him to purchase all the items for his birthday party on Saturday. He chose everything blue of course being that has been his favorite color since he was born! He also chose his brother a Christmas gift and I think what was the sweetest thing was he said he was ready to go pick him up because he missed hium. How precious is that! So what a fun evening. Getting excited about the weekend and all that we will be doing.

Today was hair cutting day at the Bagwell house! My boys and I both had hair cuts and I had the gray washed right out of my hair. LOL!!! It seems that I keep having to get my hair done a little bit quicker each time because I am getting so gray! Oh well.... I guess that is just a sign of the stage of life that I am in and there could be a lot worse than a few gray hairs.

Today overall was a great day! I loved hanging out with the boys after haircuts for a little picnic in the living room. They especially enjoyed eating their (yuck) McDonald's. LOL!!!

Tonight we finished up working on our new theater room. It looks great. Now just to get some furniture in there! I love bartering!!!! So for now....I am going to go try to get some sleep!

Today was a fun day.... I got to go on a short but sweet shopping trip with my sweet sister friend Candy! We had fun speed shopping. I actually knocked out Eli's birthday gifts and several Christmas presents.

This afternoon I spend some time with Eli. He went with me to show some of my jewelry to a few friends, a little shopping, and then we took a trip to Yogurt Mountain! It is amazing. If you haven't been yet it is beside Whole Foods on Woodruff and it it is to die for. I loved watching Eli's sweet face as he is not able to eat regular ice cream. You get to make your own yogurt mountain (I admit I had a germ issue) but once I started eating my yummy "mountain" I forgot all about germs. LOL! It is wonderful and I can't wait to go back with Tommy and Bleeze.

Once again tonight I was honored to meet with the wonderful ladies leadership team at Grace. We had a great meeting and I am very excited about all the upcoming things that God has for the ladies of Grace. I also loved my gift from Africa from sweet Joy! It is beautiful. It actually touched my heart more than you could know. It is a beautiful necklace made by a pastor's wife in africa who is providing for their family by selling jewelry...kinda hit home! Off to bed...hopefully to get some sleep!

Today was a lazy day. Tommy was exhausted from working 14 hours yesterday so we took it easy. Tonight was fun though. Our community group leader celebrated his 40th birthday. We had a great time with friends as his wife planned a suprise video scavenger hunt. We had so much fun racing against the clock to complete the task and join everyone back for a lovely time of wonderful food, fellowship,
and most of all laughs watching everyone's videos....did I mention the wonderful birthday cake? Oh my....it was to die for!!!

This week has been crazy. We have been doing some construction and had a painter in this house this week...plus... for those of you who did not know, I started a new business over the past few weeks. I am so thankful to my wonderful hubby Tommy who has been supporting me in this adventure. I have always "played" with the idea of designing jewelry. I love it and all ways have. So... I stepped out faith and have let my imagination run wild. I am designing jewelry and accessories. I am so grateful for all the orders and opportunities that have come in this week.

Not only have I been busy this week but Tommy has been swamped. He has worked late every single day and today is not exception. He is still working now and left at 6:30 this morning after not going to bed until 3am. So thankful to Shane for coming over to help us install our theater system in our bonus room. I am really excited about this new room and really grateful once again for barter work!!! Bartering ROCKS!!!

I cleaned house this morning and just chilled this evening. Tommy has been working and I did manage to watch some football this evening....Carolina played horrible and I am not saying that because I am a Clemson fan... Believe or not... I actually was cheering for Carolina! Well... anyway, my hubby is hopefully going to be home after this LONG day and we can go to bed! Nightie night!!!

Well... I got me a spic and span clean house this morning and then the boys and I decorated for Christmas. Tommy enjoyed a hunting trip this morning and then came home to help out around here at the house. This evening was the Clemson/Carolina game. I have to be honest... I will be SOOOOO glad when football season is over and it is times like this that I am thankful that Tommy is not into sports too much. I tell you, when it comes to football "talk", you really start to see peoples true character and even their integrity. There is so much smack talked on facebook that I could puke. Another thing that I am going to be honest about is the same people who talk their football smack on what I refer to as Saturday football facebook are the same people who participate in Spritual Sunday on Facebook...blah! All of it makes me sick...

With all that to the side... I have to say this... I have always been a Clemson Tiger fan...My entire family is....but I also see reality. It has nothing to do with loyalty or my love for the Tigers but it is just common sense...Carolina is has been a heck of a lot better team this year...(the proof is in the pudding) and I am really starting to question Dabo's ability as a coach... it doesn't matter how good of a person he is...that is great... but it is about his ability to coach football... Well.. I am finished with that subject..LOL!!!

Well...this year I was not as crazy as the past. I did not get up at the crack of dawn to go shopping but I did go shopping after a lunch of leftovers from my parents. Not only did I go shopping but I went with my hubby and two boys. So much fun we had!!! We enjoyed a trip to the mall, walmart, target, and Garden Ridge where we purchased a new Christmas tree. One other thing we did was Bleeze got to sit on Santa's lap. We had to make Eli get the picture made (poor guy) he is getting so big!! We did not plan on doing the pics today but Bleeze cried and the line was not long. He has been awesome about Santa this year. So fun! He really sees the magic in all of it and I LOVE that! We had a great time and enjoyed yummy hamburgers for dinner! Headed to bed so I can get up, clean the house, and decorate the tree!!! Fun times!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I truly have so much to be thankful for. Over the past years I have often documented my "attitude of gratitude" for this blog. It has often been misunderstood as "bragging" or confused for something other than exactly what it is as a journal of gratitude. It seems that each year I have more and more to be thankful for. This year is no exception. Even with certain personal circumstances I am currently faced with I am so grateful and blessed. I know that God is in control and he will work in my favor if I put my trust in Him!

We enjoyed a great day! As usual we started our morning off with watching the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and the Dog Show. This has become the tradition in the Bagwell house and no Thanksgiving is complete without those two things on Thanksgiving morning. We loved spending time with my family and of course my parents cooked a feast. I did not take pictures this year and I am so mad at myself.

Oh what a fun night we had tonight!!!! My sweet hubby surprised me with tickets to the Lady Antebellum concert. It was sooo good! I just loved them but most of all I loved spending time with him!

On the downside... I came home to sick kiddos...blah...one is sick to his stomach and complaining of sore throat and headache. The other sore throat and coughing....we shall see!!!

Tonight has been one of those nights when I realize a few things....

1. Eli is growing up way to fast.

2. Bleeze is a sweetie pie.

3. I am getting old fast..LOL!

I dropped Eli off tonight for a Bonfire with the Fusion group at church. He had fun other than falling into a briar patch. We removed 23 thorns plus all the ones the leaders removed at the event. Poor fellow! While Eli was off enjoying what he thinks is the "teen-age" life. I was off to spend some time with my little man! I took him to see Dreamworks Megamind. Such a good little movie. He was precious. After the movie we joined Tommy for some dinner and then picked my big guy up! Glad that they both had such a fun day!

I closed my last blog in hopes of becoming better at blogging. The thing is I do have a lot to say and a lot in my mind however, I am not a liberty to say many of those things as of right now. In the past few weeks, I feel like a have been on a journey like no other. A journey filled with so many different emotions that it is overwhelming for me to even think about them, much less write about those feelings. I can however, put a few things I know for sure. Things that are certain in my life right now....but then again is anything every "for certain". I think God has been trying to teach me over the years that the on thing that is certain and "for sure" in this life is HIM! Isn't it wonderful to know that his "mercies are new everyday". With that being said, I can give you a quick update of things in my life right now and hopefully keep up with this blogging adventure again. I have to say that when I was a faithful blogger it was so nice to go back and relive the experiences in my life.

1.I am no longer with the LOOM at cotton mill place.

2. I am excited about new opportunities.

3. I am very excited about being with my boys more and being able to focus more on their education.

4. I have been disappointed by MANY people in the past few weeks but at the same time God has reminded me of his redemptive power in relationships so there is no need to be discouraged.

5. I have learned when you have done all you can do to stand...JUST STAND! (I am just standing)

6. I have a husband who is amazing. That has been VERY supportive of me in the past few weeks and I can never thank him enough.

7. I am so thankful for a church body that lives Biblically.

8. I am growing and learning more and more everyday in the ladies leadership gender study at church....can't wait for the spring for it to be passed on.

9. I would not want to be an attorney or a CPA. (I appreciate all that each of you do, but you couldn't pay me enough to have either job.)

10. When my integrity has been questioned, I have learned to stand firm in my beliefs and know who I am as an individual as well as in Christ.

11. My boys are the best,most patient children on the planet.

12. I realized the other day that I have to cherish every minute with Eli because he is almost grown..... sniff...sniff.:0(

13. Halloween is fun when spent with friends. :0)

14. Halloween candy is best when shared with friends. :0)

15. That I am very grateful for friendship (TRUE friendship). For the friends who have reached out to me in many different ways the past few weeks. You are all truly amazing.

16. That I have had some wonderful family time in the past few weeks with my parents and my brother, sister in law, and niece. I love them and I am so grateful to have their love and support.

17. There is nothing like seeing my sweet Bleeze face light up when he received his new puppy "Bella". She weighs less than one pound and is simply precious!!!

18. That I enjoy Charlotte Bobcat games! (ha..I really enjoy looking at Michael Jordan) LOL!

19. That I really appreciate my husband's love for politics.

20. I love fun times in the car with friends singing songs!

21. That I am truly excited about going to see Lady Antabellum this weekend!

22. Really excited about a new opportunity that has come my way and is allowing me to be creative.

24. That if you stay in Hobby Lobby long enough listening to the music you can actually feel like you have been to church for worship...ahh....(I was sad yesterday when I went...they were playing Christmas music... I was looking for some spirtual uplifting..LOL)

25. I love our new small group! Great people and I love feeling apart.

26. That I do not like the time change.

27. That I wish I were on a tropical island most days lately..LOL!

28. That I am having trouble getting into the holiday spirit this year. It is not that I don't like Christmas...but I just think we skip Thanksgiving now. I want my kids to know Thanksgiving. What it means to be thankful and to realize the true meaning of Thanksgiving. To understand what it means and the true significance of the pilgrims and their journey. If you think about all of it, it is truly amazing and I want them to experience being Thankful first....then we will think about Christmas.

29. Halloween candy seems to mulitply on it's own...LOL!

These last are the most important.

30. God IS good all the time.

31. God IS faithful all the time.

32. I would be NOTHING with out JESUS!

33. Jesus paid it all!

34. When I don't understand life and the troubles and trials that it brings my way, I know that I can trust in the one who is the creator of this life and he will sustain me.

37. Just as people never cease to amaze me.... neither does God!

So there you have it....just a few of my latest thoughts and feelings. I am going to try to keep this blog going. I love posting about my God,hubby, kids, and day. I am trying to keep my promises on the entire blogging thing...LOL! So what's up today. Today I have been busy...SUPER busy! I have to say huge shout out to my parents for being there to help me the past two days. I have had several very important meetings and lots of decisions to make. They are awesome! Also a special thanks to my hubby. He has been wonderful lately. So supportive and I am so happy to have him involved some in my business. I have to admit that it was super nice working along side him all day yesterday!

We had a spectacular lunch today at Zamorah's in Simpsonville. I just love that good old soul food. The best meat and three around....we splurged and bought three different pieces of cake to try them all. We had red velvet, chocolate, and Italian Creme. All three were WONDERFUL!!!

I had a couple of meetings this evening to but one of them was for church. I just love the ladies on the ministry team at Grace. It is an honor to serve along side them. They are always so encouraging and I am SUPER excited about all that God is going to do in the upcomping weeks/months through our new study!!!

Well, that is a brief little update on little ole me. For those of you who follow me and are believers. Say a little prayer for me. I have lots of VERY important decisions to make and I need lots of wisdom, strength, courage, and clarity! For now....for all you fall lovers out there.. enjoy this fall weather!

playing catch up

Well, I know, I tend always write on my blog and make a bunch of promises I that I will continue to blog and then I never do. I have decided that it is for sure the thing that I need to do! I think it is somewhat theraputic to blog and so I shall continue. I am not really going to try to play catch up but maybe just go through the past week.

This past week has been somewhat of a challenge. I am faced with several changes and I have decided to take the motto of Matt William's opening remarks in his message last week at Grace Church that "challenges equal opportunities". Now don't get me wrong, these challenges are for sure opportunities and I am excited but at the same time faced with all the emotion of it all.

In the mean time, I am enjoying living life. Lately, my little Bleeze has been a real treat to homeschool. Eli is at the point where he does a ton of independant study but Bleeze has to have the one-on-one attention right now. He cracks me up. I am reallys starting to notice the differences in their personalities. He is just so "matter of fact". He keeps us laughing that is for sure!

One thing I have picked up on Eli is that he is truly growing into a man. On a recent trip to the lake I saw he take such a leadership role and jump in and help his Dad with real "man work" he is not afraid of a challenge and I truly am starting to admire him for it! He is an amazing boy that is full of passion for life and the people and things around him.

This week I did get to enjoy a girls night out with Candy at Salon 864 & Boutique. If you haven't visited there you have got to soon! So awesome! We enjoyed all the pretty clothes, jewelry, etc. and lucky Candy won the door prize that night!! Wow! I also enjoyed dinner and Target run with my buddy!

I also enjoyed 17 different meetings for the LOOM. I am excited about all the upcoming events at the LOOM and can't wait for this upcoming week! We had spectacular weekend. Read all about it here www.theloomatcottonmillplace.blogspot.com.

Today we enjoyed a little "time-out" and spend some time as a family up at the lake. Tommy, has had yet another ebay adventure and got us another new boat...LOL! He just trades off and on all the time. It is really funny!!!I really enjoyed today's ride though. (just wonder if we will have it in the spring (probably not) if he sees another opportunity, it will be out of here) LOL!!!

Oh me... so for now... I am heading to bed. Gotta get back to showing my gratitude so I am going to show my gratitude now before turning in and then off to bed. Early morning tomorrow and an exciting week ahead.

Today was fun! We stayed on the beach for most of the afternoon! We drove to Siesta Key for dinner and a beautiful sunset! Siesta Key is amazing! Such a fun little spot in the road and the beach was amazing! We enjoyed dinner at THE HUB baja grill. Soooo good! Amazing food and fun! Such a nice relaxing day and time!

Well we all made it one piece to our Beach House! It is is in Bradenton Florida. We are very close to several different beaches, etc. The house is amazing! It is beautiful and will sleep 16! There is only four of us! The boys say they each have their own apartments! LOL!!!! We had a good drive and no one killed anybody (came close several times however we made it) We got settled in the house and then went to Walmart which is always an adventure! I made fudge and cooked some dinner! Now to just relax in the pool and hot tub! Ready to start my week at the beach!

Finally.....waited all summer to have my toes in the sand! We had a blast today! The boys love to play on the beach! The sun was very hot today! The boys had 50 sunscreen and got a little red! UGH! We had a great day though! We drove into St. Petersburg and enjoyed The Pier and ate dinner at CHA CHA Coconuts! It was pretty tasty.

We spent most of the morning tying up loose ends at home and for our businesses and then we were off for VACA! WHOOT WHOOT! Lord knows we sure need it! We stopped for dinner in Columbia. No trip through Columbia is complete without having something to eat from Rush's. Crazy thing is, we are in the parking lot and Bleeze announces "Mrs. Brandi is here" Sure enough I turn around and there is her car. LOL! It was John and Dean on their way down to Ocean Lakes! We drove half way to Kingland Georgia. The hotel is so nice! We got here just in time for our nightly bed and Golden Girls. LOL!!! The boys did great on the drive they can take about 5 hours before they start to go crazy! So thankful for the ipad, ipod, satellite Disney Radio and portable DVD players. I am going to get some sleep now! Nightie night!

Yep... I think we are going to get to leave for vacation tomorrow! Can't wait!!! Today has been great! We got to hang out with Candy and her kiddos for lunch and Stevie B's pizza. I also enjoyed surprising a friend on her birthday! I also got to meet with Ivey Crawford and her family! I can't wait for her wedding itis going to be amazing! However the best part of the day was the sweet surprise I got! My sweet Tommy gave me my anniversary gift today! Our anniversary is not until next Monday! It is so beauiful! I love him!!!!

Today has been a good day. I am now counting down the hours instead of days until we go on vacation. I have been busy all day working with clients and quotes trying to get everything straight before we leave. Eli had his old friend Alec come over and hang out today! Gosh, I just realized how slack I have been. I haven't blogged in ages. I am really going to try to get back to blogging. It is an excellent way to keep up with our life as well as get some frustrations, opinions, etc. out there for the world to hear.

I guess one of the reasons I haven't blogged in a bit is because I have been very busy. The LOOM has taken off and we have a sister division now called Cotton Blossoms. Cotton Blossoms specializes in event and floral design. We have had a really busy summer. Mostly working, going to the pool, hanging out with friends, and of course. Going to the lake! ahhhhhhh

I have so much to catch up on this blog I don't know if I can so I guess I will just start with today...no point in reliving all of the past. LOL!!!
We went to church this morning. I always learn so much each week. I am amazed at how scriptures I have always heard can suddenly have a completely different meaning and impact on my life.

After church, we went to Walmart and then off to Mythos for lunch. So good! The boys both ate like piggies! This afternoon Eli and I have had fun downloading some new songs to his ipod from a gift card he got. I have also enjoyed playing wiht my awesome new toy an ipad (seriously it was a work investment). I say it is always okay to mix business with pleasure. hehehehehe!

So I guess for now I will post some pics from this summer and try to do my best to keep up with this blog. What a great Easter! I love this time of year! The boys had so much fun decorating and hunting eggs. They also enjoyed dressing up in the clothes Mama Joan purchased for them. I guess for me the best part is know that they fully understand the true meaning of Easter. The fact that we serve a risen Savior. (However, Bleeze keeps saying it is Jesus birthday) LOL!

RV'ing

So I have to admit that I am was never up for camping until I tried it. Now I am one happy camper. I absolutely LOVE it! The time and memories we have with the boys are priceless. So we got a new RV. We are so blessed. It ROCKS! So, we decided to take the boys for a quick trip to Georgia. We love the Georgia state parks. They are awesome! We enjoyed hiking, the boys loved the playground (I loved lying on a blanket by a stream), fish hatchery, watching movies, a trip into Helen, dinner at the Lodge, it was great. The boys loved it. Sad to say the last day we were there though Eli woke up running a fever. UGH! Got him home to discover he had strep throat. Poor guy! Thank goodness we caught it fast so he is not to bad off!

Oh my... little slack this week at the blogging! LOL! We had a great week. The boys both started soccer and love it! Bleeze is so cute! Seems like yesterday Eli was just starting soccer! We had fun going to the mall with my Mom and Saturday, church was amazing as usual yesterday, and the boys enjoyed the circus last night with their Dad. I was sad that I did not get to go with them but duty called at the LOOM.

We had a busy week at the LOOM. From appointments to taxes. We were swamped! CRAZY! Then this past weekend we hosted Shannon Forest High School Reunion and a really sweet wedding!

Wild but Wonderful

The past week has been wild but wonderful. We have been be busy hosting Grace Church at the LOOM for their Children's Ministry Appreciation Dinner. We also had a beautiful wedding reception on Saturday and appointments all week.

It seems as if though Brandi and I are constantly getting ourselves into one adventure or another. Today we traveled with our on in house catering staff to the big town of Iva..LOL! We went to an old mill and checked out some fabric that they sell at a discount. It was an experience to say the least. We had a ton of fun and a lot of laughs too! Not to mention a yummy lunch at Cracker Barrel on the way home! Now for some gratitude....

Well, I can't complain today! We had a good weekend. One peaceful weekend before a lot of chaos starts at re the LOOM. We are booked like crazy. Yesterday we went to church where Bill White did an excellent job teaching yesterday! I LOVED the message on the Ten Commandments! We enjoyed our usual Bojangles breakfast and then a trip to the mall. I watched the Michael Buble concert from Madison Square Garden. I was just imagining I was there. LOL! Then Bleeze and I took a little trip to the grocery store!

Today has been good. My sweet Eli got his braces! He looks adorable. It looks like he has a good long road ahead of him in the brace face world. I love the fact that he is seeing my orthodontist too. It was too funny....it has been 20 years since I saw him...(UGH telling my age, and boy, I'm getting old) However, he hasn't changed a bit!

We spent the afternoon homeschooling where I learned some things in history that I did not know. LOL!

Tonight, I cooked some dinner and enjoyed a windy walk with my hubby while the boys went to watch a movie at my parents.

So for now... here is some grateful heart and I am off to dream land. This time change is killer!

Weekend...

So glad that it is the weekend. We had a VERY busy week this week. I did joy a dinner Thursday evening with my sweetheart at The Peddler. It was so yummy! We also made a little trip to Target to visit the Easter Bunny (wink, wink) can't wait for that! Yesterday I was swamped for most of the day but managed to enjoy a fun night out with the kiddos to On the order and a Friday night run to Walmart. Today, I managed to straighten the house, hang out with my kiddos and enjoyed dinner with Friends tonight at American Pie Factory. I love the wings there! So good. Had a nice time with Tim and Kim and their kiddos too! We also made another Walmart run! LOL! So I have had a semi-relaxing weekend. Going to bed early tonight. We loose an hours sleep to night and we attend early service at our church so we will have to be up SUPER early! So for now...going to show some gratitude and hit the sack. Night all!

Gratitude......

I can't believe that it has been over a month since I have blogged. I had been so good about for so long. I think sometimes I think I have done it in my head but I am so busy that I really did not. LOL! Let's see...what's been going on in our family. Gosh....let's see...where do I start....

The boys are great! Bleeze has had some stomach issues and ear infection but other than that.. it has been great. I hate that I haven't blogged a lot lately because I have lots of funny stories to share about this little man. Eli is great....staying busy of course, homeschooling, etc. Both boys start spring soccer next week and they can't wait.

Tommy and I are doing great too. Both of our businesses are going well. We are staying busy and that is awesome. The LOOM is rocking! God is blessing the business like crazy. We participated in another Wedding Festival and held another Bridal Open house last night. It was a great success. We are so grateful to have such great people to make up our LOOM team.

We went on vacation last week. First to Orlando for a day at Disney and then on down to the keys for a week of fun. It was a week of camping and the weather was not great but it was nice to be away. Tommy's mom Mary joined us and we had an adventure. I loved Duval Street. It was fun to go to the Market too!

Well, that is some brief catching up and I will try to maintain my blog from here on out. Someone asked me just this week where my blogs had gone. Just been busy...going to close with some gratitude as always......

Week at a Glance.....

Well, lets see...been a little slack lately in the blogging department. I just watched Julie and Julia and it really made me want get back into the habit of blogging. I just wish that I had something more interesting to blog about other than my daily life, gratitude, spiritual, political, and personal beliefs. I suppose that is what blogging is all about. The things you are passionate about and those things are my passions.

My daily life has gotten a little bit more organized this past week. I have been trying to get back on a schedule and stay consistent. I am so happy that we have set hours now at the LOOM, there for a while I had that flying by the seat of my pants feeling and I do not enjoy that. I MUST have structure and consistency. That is just the way I roll. Sorry to all my friends and family that I drive insane with that.

My gratitude. I have so much to be grateful for. I sometimes am ashamed when I do my little daily bloggings of my gratitude. I could never be thankful enough to my God. He is amazing. All that he has given me and all that he has provided for me is amazing! I just have to share the little tid bits as they come. It also helps keep me humble.

The boys are doing well. We have been rebuking the puke all the week. So many friends of ours have that horrid stomach virus. I have to admit I have gotten so much better about this. I used to would have lost hours of sleep and had hours of anxiety, stressing over if we were going to contact the stomach bug. I have to say that though I still struggle with this fear God has really helped me with this. I have realized that when I set around and worry over it, I am actually sinning. God tells us over and over again in his word not to worry or be fearful. So I have tried to surrender my faith to Him in this area and just trust that he is in control and he will help me no matter what. I believe he can keep us from it all the way around!

The boys are excited to start soccer soon. I am ready for them to also! I have missed it! I am really excited for Bleeze. This is going to be his first time playing. He is going to be precious! LOL!

I was excited this past week. I actually managed to work in some fun time. Mani and Pedi with Candy, saw the Blind Side with Brandi, and worked a trip into Charlotte with Tommy to Ikea. That is the quickest I ever went through that place. Got some cute glasses for my kitchen though. We were down to just a few from dropping, dishwasher mishaps, etc.

I was also happy to start back to ladies Bible study too! So happy to Candy and Malia part of our group to. I can't wait to get my book Tuesday and be able to start my homework. I know God is going to take me to a brand new level through this study.

Today was good. We went to church this morning. I was SO happy that the Stone's went with us. I did take something away with me today about FEAR and PRIDE going hand in hand. It so true. I encourage everyone to go to our church's website and listen today's message. Only one or two more weeks of studying on Fear/Freedom dealing with finances. I am excited to see what is coming up next. I have had the opportunity to be lazy again this Sunday. LOVE IT! Been chatting on line, watching movies, reading magazines, playing on facebook. AWESOME! This will all end tomorrow.

Yep, tomorrow is back to homeschooling, working, and all the normal things! Excited for lots of things this week. Home school activities, new brides at the LOOM, and this Sunday is our vendor Bridal Fair at the LOOM. Can't wait!

So for now. I am off to read some more of my magazine and make out the schedules for the boys and myself this week. Hope everyone has a great week!

Survived the Wedding Festival and Fun times with Friends....

We survived the wedding festival....thank God! Eli went with me today and he was a HUGE help. I am so glad I have him. He has become a great spokesperson for the LOOM. He cracked me up. He has all the facts and is such a good salesman. LOL! The worse part of today was getting trapped at the parking deck of the Hyatt for 2 hours. Seriously, the city of Greenville has GOT to open more exits. It was truly a nightmare!

Tonight we got to go the the Charlotte Bobcats basketball game with the Stone's. We had so much fun and we really enjoyed eating at the MEZ afterwards. So good. Loved that place. It was awesome.

Today has been an errand running day again. Lot's going on! Whew..... I will be so happy when Brandi comes back from Disney. I am so happy that they are getting to go but I miss them! Met with two awesome brides today. That was great! hehehe... I almost fell of the treadmill tonight reading my magazine. It was so embarressing. LOL! We got to see some snowflakes tonight too. Bleeze was so excited. I am sad though because I really don't think it is going to stick..ughh...

Today was awesome. I have had such a stressful week. Other than a no-show for a bridal consult today was so much better. My boys went to spend part of the day with Nanny Mary. I had lunch with Candy. Gosh...that was so nice. We went to Stella's YUMMY! Then our old time favorite place Target. We had a blast. Then I was able to get some errands and other thing done this afternoon. I even made it to the grocery store today and cooked dinner tonight. (not much of a dinner Manwhich) LOL!!!! But hey.. I cooked and we ate together as a family. The boys actually love it and ate better than usual. ha!

So, today was stressful but not as stressful as yesterday. I want to say a huge thanks to all of you who sent me text private messages and encouragment! I normally try to keep me frustrations hidden and not share them for the world to see, but yesterday was crazy. I have to say that the best part of the day today was laughing with the boys in the car. They crack me up sometimes! They both are hilarious. I would like to say they are both such troopers and good helpers. They helped me clean at the LOOM today. Poor Bleeze, he picked up about the 1000 rose petals that were left on the floor from Sunday's wedding and Eli helped with so much. I am so lucky to have them as my little boys.

Tonight was date. It was my night with Eli. We went to the mall. I have to say that I was happy that he chose to do that because I had some things I wanted to pick up. He actually helped me choose clothes. He is so funny. We ate at Shomar's in the mall. It was pretty yummy. We had fun! So now I am off to show some gratitude. I am excited about tomorrow. Having lunch with my friend.

Oh my...today was not a good start to the new year. It was so stressful. Lot going in personally and professionally. I have so much to do and not enough time in the day to do it all. I am going to skip right to the gratitude. I need to be reminded.

Sunday and a grateful heart

So today was a little crazy. Had another wedding today. I was able to be with my family all morning that made me happy. We had lunch out at Wendy's (blah) but at least we were together and then it was off to work. Thanks to Mary (my motherinlaw) for watching my sweet boys. They had fun and it helped me out. Tommy and I worked the event today. Big thanks to Brian and Josh for coming out to help in the transition. It went pretty smooth.

Tommy and I took a break and had some dinner at the new place Harry and Jean's it was so good. For those of you who are local, go try it. It is located across the street from Costco (the old PRIME) it is so pretty in there and it is so good. I had the pecan crusted catfish and grits and Tommy had apple pork tenderloin and cheese potatoes (I tasted both and it was amazing)

The event was over early tonight and were able to get the boys and get home early. So I am very thankful for that. I am exhausted. So for now...here is my gratitude.

Today was busy as usual and I am so tired. We had a wedding at the LOOM and then set up for another wedding tomorrow. This 2am mornings are hard work. LOL! I am trust that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and started their New Year off Great! I already have screwed up a bit. I had planned to be more devoted to my blog. I used to be so good about it but being so busy it gets hard. I am going to try my best though in 2010. I have decided not to make any resolutions because they are so hard to keep. Since we NEVER get snow. The day after Christmas we took a spontaneous trip up to NC to Banner Elk for some fun snow tubing. The boys loved staying in a hotel to swim as much as they enjoyed snow tubing. We had fun with my parents. The only bad part was that Tommy banged his knee up pretty bad. Hopefully it will be fine! Hope everyone has a great rest of the Holiday Season.

The past week has been fun. We have been working on decorating the LOOM for Christmas. It is looking good. It included cutting down some trees...LOL! Oh the things Brandi and I do! We had pictures made last weekend and got to see some. I will post a couple but I encourage everyone to go to Kim's website and check out our pics. She is amazing and everyone should use her. This past weekend the LOOM was hoping. Brandi was a lucky duck and enjoyed a trip to see the TIGERS play! So sad that they lost. We had Ducks Unlimited Banquet, Surprise 40th bday and Greenville Car Wash had their corporate Christmas party at the LOOM. In between all the craziness I had to get Eli to Laurens for Nutcracker practice and Bleeze to ride on top of the firetruck in the Simpsonville Christmas parade. Not to mention the great time we had at Breakfast with Santa. Both boys enjoyed it but Bleeze REALLY did! He is so much fun this year!!! This week is busy also. I will try to keep you all informed.

Started out our day at Chickfila. We had fun! The boys got to paint pottery with the Ward girls. They had fun and got breakfast too. We were busy today with our study on Eli Whitney and I worked at the LOOM on some clients and decorating the LOOM for Christmas. We have a busy few weeks ahead.

Tonight we went to the Upstate Briday Association Christmas Party. It was fun. We had night of good food, dancing, and fun! Great way to start December.

Oh my gosh... November flew by. We have been very busy. We have been busy with life in general. The LOOM is keeping me busy, homeschooling, and not to mention all of the other holiday things. We had a great month though. Several events at the LOOM. One beautiful gorgeous wedding. I also enjoyed a sweet trip to Build-a -Bear with my sweet Bleeze. We had had a great Thanksgiving. We had dinner with my parents and grandparents. That evening we spent time with Tommy's mom at our house.

Friday after Thanksgiving, I was up and gone....shopping. I had so much fun with the girls, Brandi, Cindy, Morgan, and Dorothy. We had a blast. Then I was home to decorate the tree with my sweet boys, then we had dinner that evening with Tommy's Dad, Tammy, and Lexi.

Saturday after Thanksgiving was a little sad. We had to go to Rock Hill to my cousin's baby funeral. Sooo sad. Bless their hearts. He died at three months old of SID's.

We enjoyed dinner that evening at O'Charley's with my parents and then the four of drove to Charlotte for some shopping at South Park. LOVE that mall. Always have, ever since my Belk days. LOL! There was no line for Santa, so the boys took advantage of that (poor Eli, I made him) Then we headed home. So sad the Tigers lost on Saturday. Hey...you win some, you loose some.

Sunday we enjoyed church and breakfast as usual as a family. Then I had two meetings at the LOOM. We also had a photo shoot at the LOOM. I cannot wait to see the pics. Kim did an awesome job as always. I know they are going to be great. She has teased us a little with posting two of them on FB. After photo shoot, I enjoyed a quick dinner with the Ward's then I was off to take Eli to play practice. He is the Nutcracker Prince in the Nutcracker. So proud of him. He is doing a great job. Can't wait until the 12th for his production.

So for now, that was our November. I hope to be better about blogging in December. Hope everyone is doing well...good night.

Great Week

This week was a pretty good week. Lots of the work for the LOOM. Wednesday, Brandi and I got a little break/ business pleasure type day. Girls day out at the Gap and Lunch at Mary's Falls Cottage. Then we got our shopping on too! Ended the day with a great meal at PF CHANGS! YUMMY

Thursday was fun. Spent the day homeschooling and just hanging out with my two boys. We had fun and some silly times. I was lucky to get to eat out two meals for Dine out For MOM for the Let there be Mom organization. This organization is amazing. It helps preserve the legacy of a dying family for the family. Lunch time the boys and I hit up Five Guys Burger and Fries and then for dinner I had Atlanta Bread Company with my Bible Study gals. It was great and so was Bible study.

Friday was errand day and I also managed to get a date night with my hubby. The boys spent the night with my parents and we enjoyed a great time. OUr dinner was not so great...but we saw Couples Retreat. FUNNY MOVIE!!!!

Saturday I cleaned house while Tommy worked a bit in the morning and then we were off to see Jessica and Makenzie in Gaffney because she was in NC visiting her parents. It was so good to see them. Makenzie has grown a ton. Got my shopping on at the outlets too. That always makes me happy!

Today was great too. We went to church, lunch, and shopping. Then I ran to the LOOM for the trunk show for the new clothing line from Lilypad. Then we were off to Trunk or Treats. The boys had a blast and then we had dinner with Tammy, Tony, Jordan and Lexi. Great way to end the weekend.

Today was good. I got my house spicn-n-span! I love the smell of a nice clean house. The boys and I headed out to my nephew Jordan's 16th birthday! Makes me feel so old! After his dinner at O'Charley's we headed back to the mall today to return a shirt I picked up for Eli yesterday at Holister. It had a hole in it. So, we just had some fun hanging out and I also got to pick up some books from that Christian Book store outlet. I LOVE THAT STORE! Then we were off Walmart to pick up a few things

Tommy worked this morning and then went deer hunting tonight. He came home frozen. It is so cold! I hear there is snow in NC! WOW! Well, the boys are out and I am being lazy. Lying in bed just messing around on the computer. Tommy is working tonight at Logan's Roadhouse. He has to repair the floors while the restaurant is closed. So for now. I am going to chill, read some of my new books and wait for him to come in LATER (LITERALLY THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT)

oh, I am so thankful that it is Friday. This week has been busy. The LOOM has been very busy this week. We booked three weddings, plus tons of meetings. THANK GOD! He is SOOO good.

Today has been very good. I was able to release so stress by spending the afternoon shopping. LOL! Shopping always makes stress less! LOL! I spent the afternoon with Bleeze. Tommy took Eli again today to the lake. I think they finally finished the porch! YAY! So, today we went to the mall, Target, and Old Navy. Got great deals everywhere. Especially Dillards and Old Navy!

Tonight I enjoyed dinner at Logan's Roadhouse with my mom. Daddy was with Eli and Tommy! It was yummy! I LOVE their rolls. Tonight Bleeze and I have been just lying in bed chilling! Tommy and Eli just got home from the lake but I am hoping to go to sleep soon and sleep late in the morning! Hope everyone has a great night and weekend!

So far this week has been going well. Both boys seem to be feeling better. I forgot to share in my previous post that Sunday, I was priveledged to play the piano for worship at the nursing home. Our church (Grace Church on Pelham) provides worship every Sunday morning for the residents at the Garden. I have to admit that I was VERY nervous. It has been ages since I played the piano, let alone hymns. They are hard and they make me nervous. Thankfully, the residents really do not mind (and to be honest, most can't hear well enough to know when I make a mistake) I really appreciate Kevin Jones giving my name to Kathy . I felt honored to play for such special people. I was also humbled and grateful to serve my Lord! The residents were precious and it made a new awareness to me of many things. 1. I hope that one day if I am in the nursing home I have someone to come and share Christ with me 2. That there are people of all ages who do not know Christ yet ( I knew that but you just assume that they are old and they are believers, but not all of them are) 3. That I have to share the talents and gifts that God has given me even when I feel intimidated! A huge thanks to all those who make that ministry such a success...Kathy and Tom you rocked on Sunday!

Right now, I am sitting here waiting on Tommy to get home so we can order Chinese. The boys are playing outside. Today is probably the only day they will be able to play outside because it is supposed to rain the rest of the week.

We have been meeting with brides and other potential clients all week. God is sooo good! Enjoyed a yummy lunch at Anita's today with Brandi and her girls and Dean and Cindy! So for now, I am off to do some work, eat some dinner and hope to spend some time with my family. Hope everyone's week is full of awesome!

This week has been a long, hard, busy week. We had our Style Swap consignment sale. We did pretty good and have a lot of fun in the process. Thanks to everyone who came out to consign and shop. We also went to the Third Day concert. I am so sorry that Tammy, Tony, and Lexi were sick but we sure did enjoy the concert. My mom even enjoyed it. I hated Tommy couldn't go. He has been so busy the past couple of weeks. I am ready for him to have a break. In fact, he is even working nights at Logan's Steakhouse to redo the floors there. We had a birthday party today at the LOOM. So cute. Princess party. I know all the kiddos had fun! So for now, Well, I am out of here for now. Gotta get some sleep. Gotta get up early in the morning. Meeting with two brides, quick trip to Charlotte and then homeschooling the afternoon away. Hope everyone has a great week!!!

Today has been a good day. I dropped Eli off at the church for his fusion fall retreat. I have to admit that I was really nervous when I dropped him off. This is the first activity that he has been away for without me, however, he had an awesome time. God love him, he is so precious. We gave him spending money to take and he bought all of us including my parents bandanna's with "Look Up Lodge" on them in all our favorite colors. He did not even buy him a snack because he used all his money on those. SWEET! He loved riding the big swing, zip-line, water slides, and the amazing race game. He was not even upset that his team came in 5th.

After I dropped Eli off, Bleeze and I enjoyed a trip to Target and then we headed to grab lunch at McDonald's and then we drove up to the lake. Tommy and my Dad were putting a porch on our place and it looks good. Tommy is so good at that sorta stuff. LOL! Bleeze, my mom, and myself enjoyed a nice relaxing walk down to the lake so Bleeze could put one toe in...LOL! He kept saying" I just want to put my toe in" He put both feet in. LOL!!!!

Mom, Bleeze and myself headed back, grabbed some dinner at S&S and then we went to get Eli. We are all so tired that the boys have been in bed since 8:30 and I am lying here reading and watching TV. I am ready for my man to get home though. I have missed him the past three weeks. He had been working hard (as always).

I am so excited about Style Swap next week. It is going to be amazing. So for now. I hope everyone had a great weekend. Going to bed... excited about the new study on Joseph we are starting at Grace tomorrow. Hope every one's night is full of awesome.
